“Excellence in overall”
Absolutely recomendable
“Great facilities, great location”
The hotel was clean both inside and outside. Staff were friendly and helpful.
“Extremely satisfied”
This was our first stay at this hotel and we were extremely satisfied. The hotel is conveniently located with easy walks to Central Park, Subways, restaurants, shopping and Times Square. The hotel staff was also wonderful. Without a doubt, the Lowe's Regency will be our first option on our next trip to New York.
“Impressive”
Excellent value, good location, very good service . Quiet and comfortable.
“Too pricy for us....”
The Regency was a great deal with the Expedia package. However, everything else about it was way too expensive for our tastes--for example, $16.00 for internet access was way out of line when many hotels provide WiFi free. The restaurant was very expensive and I didn't like the fact that they left items out in the room for purchase at highly inflated prices--my daughter had the little candy box open within 2 minutes of arriving--it cost $35.00. The neighborhood was convenient, but, again, all of the eating places, etc. nearby were really expensive. A couple of years ago we chose a smaller lower rated hotel. It wasn't as fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and they had free WiFi and Continental Breakfast. Next time, I would go back there.
“Great locale...Solid stay”
The A/C in the room was lackluster...other than a couple of warm nights...beautiful hotel, perfect service and great location.
“Loews New York”
Unbelieveably large room by New York standards. Only complaint is that they start early wanted to clean your room and come back often. I learned early to put the do not disturb sign out! Other than that, which is hardly something to complain about, it was a wonderful stay!
“Wonderful Hotel”
I was able to get a great deal through Expedia Flight and Hotel package. I would gladly pay full price for this hotel! Reception staff, Library Lounge, Housekeeping were all tremendously friendly. NO attitudes, which i was half expecting from a Park Ave hotel. Clientele seemed to be a mix of business and European families. Room on 4th floor was QUIET, well appointed and very clean. Would happily return.
“Very Nice Hotel”
We just completed a 5 night stay at the Regency and enjoyed our room very much. Yes, there were some small cosmetic issues with chipped paint or woodwork, but it was very comfortable and clean. Given its location and the fact that it's a Loews hotel, we know we got a great deal through Expedia. We did feel outclassed a bit as we don't have a lot of money and there were clearly "monied" people around. It was evident that those people got top treatment by the hotel staff at the front desk, etc. The staff treated us well, though, and we have no complaints. Subway stations are close by, Central Park is two blocks away, shopping is nearby and affordable restaurants with excellent food are within easy walking distance. If you are looking for a nice hotel away from the crush of tourists in the Times Square area, the Regency is a great option. We would stay there again.
“Awesome hotel, very nice”
Staff cordial and very helpful. Excellent location and facility. Enjoyed the trip immensely. Hotel felt very "homelike".

Upper East Side, New York, United States of America: Of all the superlatives used to describe the Upper East Side, one word is apt: richest. Some of the citys wealthiest residents live in the high rises that line Fifth Avenue. Be prepared to spend an entire day at the Museum of Metropolitan Art. Both a physical and art-world behemoth, the Met is home to several masterworks, from an intact ancient Nubian temple to post-modern color studies.
