More than one outlet in the bathroom would have been useful.

Fabulous renovation with a new vibePosted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: See above.
Location: Great Park Avenue location within walking distance to fabulous restaurants and stylish shopping.
Fabulous renovation. Bar is happening and restaurant was fabulous. Service on top of their game. New younger vibe from the old geriatric crowd. Looking forward to frequenting this hotel in future.

Top ClassPosted Sep 7, 2014
Location: It's NYC - there is everything to do nearby!!
Great hotel, excellent location, friendly & helpful staff - esp the doormen! What's not to like? Good size bedrooms, v comfortable beds, quiet, close to subway, Central Park, Bloomingdales etc. would certainly recommend to anyone wanting good quality at reasonable NYC rates. Tip - Gene's for breakfast on E60th - 3 minutes stroll to a fab diner

Great hotel just blocks from Central ParkPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Great location. The rooms are right sized.
Cons: Our view was less than impressive.
Location: I think I've already mentioned it to Central Park. Dangerfields comedy club is walking distance. Shopping on Madison Avenue just a few blocks away.
This is a high-end hotel about three walking blocks from Central Park. We stayed in a standard king room, which I would say was average sized; perfectly comfortable for two people. We stayed four nights over Labor Day weekend and didn't once run into one of the staff who wasn't completely friendly. The cleaning staff also did a fantastic job cleaning up after us and the turndown service was very nice. The only word of caution is the $23 martini. But hey, if I'm going to stay at a high-end hotel on Park Avenue in Manhattan what did I expect? And by the way, the martini was fantastic!

Beautiful hotel in ManhattenPosted Sep 2, 2014
The hotel is tastefully decorated and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Our room was just perfect, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant affiliated with the hotel (The Regency Bar & Grill) offers exceptional food and the service is first-rate. We would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone, and when we plan our next visit to New York, we will plan to stay at the same hotel. A very pleasurable experience for first-time visitors.

Great place to stayPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Staff and facilities were great.
Cons: No fan in the bathroom, had to keep the door open to keep the mirror from fogging up.
Location: Park Avenue shopping, waking distance to the subway, Central Park, nice restaurants, etc.
Loved the entire experience. The hotel was clean, modern and nice, staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great for shopping, sight seeing and dining. It was also close to the 59th subway station if you wanted to go downtown. Stayed there for 4 nights and will definitely stay there again.
