We have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton battery park NY twice and have enjoyed it very much. The staff are exceptionally nice . The rooms are spacious and are kept very clean. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day with a good choice of food on the menu.If we go to NY again this is the hotel we will choose.

So close to the train station & a quick walk to Macy's as well. Huge shower, great view of the cut from the 20th floor. Great breakfast both mornings, coffee available all day in lobby. I was still recovering from a broken ankle so proximity helped cut down on walking for this trip!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Marriott Springhill and would highly recommend it. We had a lovely room on the 18th floor looking at the Empire State Building and our room was ready when we arrived on an early morning flight. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great, we were able to walk to most of the big attractions without a problem. Having the morning breakfast included was a big plus and there was a good variety of items to choose from. We would certainly stay there again and highly recommend.

I needed a quick overnight stay in Manhattan, I booked this hotel while arriving in Manhattan the same day and the staff was very nice, they stored my luggage before and after check in and out so I could do a lot of activities without the headache of carrying my luggage.
Hotel staff helped me get a cab and they were very nice. I would stay here again.

Just back from five days in the Marriott Downtown.
It's a perfect location overlooking the Hodson river with immediate access to the fantastic coastal walkway all around lower Manhattan.
The World Trade Memorial is only a few hundred metres up the road as is the Financial District and the ferries to the Lady Liberty and Ellis Island etc.
The hotel is in a relatively quiet part of Manhattan compared to the madness of Times Square and mid-town.
We would really recommend this hotel.
