Hotel Under Construction...wish I knew.

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: clean room. comfy bed
Cons: tell the customer if you had under crazy construction. Don't say you have a gym if you have a treadmill in an empty hotel suite. no resturant or any
Location: decent local. it's nyc so you can't beat it.
After doing a bunch of research I settled on the Martha Washington, King and Grove or whatever they are calling the hotel this week. First of all the Staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Yet, there was very much they could do to make my stay acceptable. The hotel was under construction and the rooms were tiny. But clean and nice. The bed was comfy....other than that there is nothing else going for this hotel that it has to offer. 500 bucks a night for nothing but a bed.

Good hotel

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Good hotel only spoilt by the building work but this should be done soon. Lovely room and comfy bed with free wi fi and bathroom had a modern look. Could not comment on communal areas for the work being done but the staff are first class and nothing was too much to help you. All in all good value for the money and would go back.

Wonderful room. Very clean. The bed was the most comfy thing I've ever slept on-like a cloud. Would definitely stay again.

Couples weekend

Posted Sep 3, 2014
We stayed for a long weekend and the location was great. Staff was friendly and great for a late check in. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. They were in the middle of renovating but the thing effected was the resturant which was open the Sunday night before we left Monday.

Great for the rate

Posted Sep 2, 2014
If you don't mind a non-existant lobby and walking through a construction zone to get to your swanky room - then it's perfect. I was happy to pay a lower rate for a non ideal aesthetic experience in the lobby. Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, even next to the elevators. Could have used more counterspace in the bathroom and more accessible outlets by the bed.

NYC Hotel

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Good location. Free internet, but not great bandwidth.
Cons: Have vending machines. Have glasses.
Location: Just 10 minute walk to Time Square.
The hotel seems to be in the process of renovating itself but it also seems that some people actually live in some of the rooms, which was weird. My room was nice but pretty small, no coffee machine, no glasses in the room and no vending machines on the floor. My room was facing the street and it's a pretty noisy area so I was glad to have earbuds to sleep. I did like having free internet and a small desk to get some work done.

This hotel's lobby is being renovated which means there are no services in this hotel other than your room. Also, workmen start banging the heck out of the lobby's roof at 7:30 AM, which will definitely wake you up if your room faces that side of the building. Lastly, my room was TINY - I've never seen anything like it. There was no closet so the ironing board was just leaning against the wall with the iron on the floor. Not worth the money at any price.

It's good but it's in process of renovation, so we don't have chance to see real lobby. It's not a big deal because lobby is the only place where guests feel renovation.

Pros: Location
Hotel still in remodelling with subsequent noise and disturbances.
