Excellent hotel in the Financial District.

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: I appreciated the picture perfect view of the Brooklyn Bridge and helpful dinning and hotel staff.
Location: Staton Island ferry, 911 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge.
The Hilton Millennium served as an excellent location close to nearby attractions and restaurants. The views and on premise dinning exceeded my expectations.

Financial District across from 9/11 Memorial

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: location, nice room (and mine had a great view)
Cons: doorman needs lesson in customer service (do not include guests when loudly trying to extort a cut from limo drivers that are arranged by concierge)
Location: 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Financial District NYSE,
Great experience, very helpful concierge service. Arranged limos, offered metrocards, etc.

Pros: Peacefulness and Quietness during the night
Location: Nice location and restaurants near by
this is my second stay on this hotel and it is always a pleasure and relaxing to stay on this hotel. The bar and restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the hotel is so elegant and enjoyable to eat and to have a drink on the bar. During the night, it was peaceful to sleep due to the quietness of the place even though the hotel is located at the heart of New York city. Overall, I will stay again on this hotel....

Perfect Lower Manhattan Location

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Excellent location, spacious room, friendly staff.
Location: Across the street from the World Trade Center Museum, and several subway lines are within half a block. Very convenient for a lower Manhattan stay.
No crystal chandeliers, but I received a very favorable weekend rate in this sleek, well-maintained hotel, which has a perfect lower Manhattan location. Check-in was quick and easy, breakfast was excellent, and the room was spacious by any city's standards…enormous for New York. Can't help but think I got an upgrade I wasn't told about, because I had a gorgeous view of the WTC monument and the river. I would have paid (and have paid) $100 more for a room like this one. Finally, this was the easiest transit connection from Penn Station I've ever had; just take the E train to World Trade Center and come up through the Chambers St. exit. The hotel is less than half a block away.

Good hotel, near subway

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: A corner room on a high floor, the view is worth it. Nice lobby.
Location: For breakfast (with good coffee) or dinner walk one block up to Les Halles. You can also take the metro to Chelsea Market or Empire dinner.
Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom with toiletries Peter Thomas Roth (Crabtree & Evelyn were better). Take Senseo pads with you if you do not drink American coffee. Eat at the restaurant only when needed; drinks in lobby is fine. All connections subway, train and taxi WTC path directly in front of the hotel. Metro A from JFK / Howard beach in 45min at Fulton Street (directly at the hotel). May not be suitable if you absolutely want no construction noise.

We had a perfect view of the 9/11 memorial and Freedom Tower. Hotel staff offered us this upgrade for a very reasonable rate. We were also allowed to check in early and check out a little late. You can't ask for much more.

No better view of the 9-11 memorial

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Great access to anywhere you want; three different subway lines are within 100 yards of the hotel's front door. The building is literally next to the 9-11 museum and has an incredible view of the Trade Center footprints and the new Freedom Tower. We were only there for the night, and had planned to go out to a restaurant in SoHo or Tribeca, but when we saw the view, we had a few drinks in the lounge, ordered in room service, and just enjoyed a very relaxing evening. The next day, we were in perfect position for our appointed entry time at the 9-11 museum, which is definitely worth visiting. Overall, a great 24 hours in a great hotel.
