Morgans Hotel- centrally located.

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Central location
Cons: Would prefer no jazz music played over breakfast. Lol.
Location: Most things within walking distance- Empire State, Central Park, Rockefeller Centre etc etc
Nice clean hotel, central location. Staff friendly. Buffet breakfast good. No issues at all with stay. Room was a little small with little natural light but was only really there to sleep. Cant really find much fault with hotel.

Great clean hotel close to Grand Central Station

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, location, free cold breakfast, free in room wi-fi, friendly staff
Cons: Mattress was a little too soft
Location: Walked to Grand Central many times. Also within walking distance to many restaurants
This hotel is very clean and close to Grand Central. The mattress is fully encased in a cover and although it was a little soft it provided a comfortable sleep. The cold breakfast had many choices and the fruit was very fresh. We appreciated that it was included along with in room wi-fi. The staff were always friendly and made us feel welcomed. Check in and out was easy. We will definitely stay there again.

A peaceful retreat in midtown Manhattan.

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Location was close to everything but less hectic than Hotels near Times Square. Was a perfect retreat after a busy day sightseeing
This is a really great midtown location, on Madison between W37th and W38th Streets. Within 15 minutes walk to Grand Central, Rockerfeller Centre, Empire State Building, Macy's, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Times Square and on and on. Lots of food options close, a deli next door, restaurants and Maccas all within 5 minutes. We were on the 15th floor and was perfectly quiet. Free breakfast was lovely, variety of breads, muffins, yogurts and fruits. A beautiful space that has free coffee station all day and a bar at night. Room was lovely, plenty of room for 2, bathroom small but has a bath. Free wifi and multiple TV channels.

Nice hotel in slightly quieter part of NY.

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Rooms were clean, staff friendly and location was good. Slightly quieter than those around the bigger tourist areas eg. Times Sq. Free wifi is another attraction. The only thing that could have been better were the breakfast arrangements. Not enough good eating seating and supplies ran low at times.

Very Good Hotel in an Excellent Location

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: The beds, size of rooms, location, staff attitude.
Cons: The range of continental breakfast options.
Morgans is ideally situated for a sightseeing trip to New York. Almost everything is a short walk away or a quick taxi ride. The hotel itself is maintained very well, kept spotlessly clean and managed by very friendly and helpful staff. We had a one bedroom suite, which was roomy and possessed a wonderfully comfortable king bed with excellent pillows. The only problem was that the view from the 8th floor was of a brick wall on one side and a wall / windows on the other. If we had been a few floors higher, I believe the views of the Empire State are impressive. The free breakfast is a simple continental affair, which was quite limited (but free). However, the diner across the street (Moonstruck) serves a great range of good breakfasts to enjoy at reasonable prices if the continental option doesn't quite hit the mark.

moder, discreet hotel in midtown

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: My husband and I felt as if we had found a treasure in the heart of midtown Manhattan, especially at the Expedia rate.
Cons: We found the bathroom very small.
Location: We found out bus and train routes, took the BibBus tour for two days, all easy walk from this hotel.
excellent hotel, modern cool colors, no name of hotel in front of building. Bathroom was quite small, and had only a shower, no bath. Location is perfect, on east side, within walking distance to Empire State building, macy's, and restuarants. Hotel offers a very nice breakfast. Staff was helpful.

Interesting hotel in great location

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Location: Great location in the heart of Manhattan. 5-10 minute walk to Grand Central, Empire State Building and Times Square. Easy walk to subway.
Great hotel centrally located in Manhattan. Short walk to most areas or to subway. Good breakfast included. I'm not sure what most rooms are like as the hotel has a variety of room styles. We had a unique room on the top (penthouse) floor under the peaked roof. It was large (400 sq ft) with a single queen bed and tub, shower, and sink in the main part of the room. Very comfortable and clean.
