“Best location for the money”

Murray Hill East Suites is a renovated apartment building in a very convenient location to most of midtown. At one half the costs of most midtown locations it certainly works for any extended stay in Manhattan

“Outdated”

Looking back I wish we would have changed hotels the second we saw the room. It was big but hasn't been updated in probably 30 years. Our king sized bed was slanted so we only slept on one half. Bedspread was disgusting. Staff was nice as was the neighborhood. Hotel was in walking distance to major attractions. Never would have booked this particular hotel but it was one of expedia's hidden deals.

“Handy for main attractions of New York”

Hotel situated in a good area and within walking distance of most of New York's main attractions. Plenty of good inexpensive restaurants close by. However the apartment, although clean, seemed old fashioned and could have done with some modernisation and a bit of luxury to bring it upto to a better standard.

I guess I understand why they blindly make you register for hotels like this. While it is relatively cheap compared to other hotels in the area, I guess you get what you pay for. I was disappointed as soon as I walked into the room

“Good enough”

Room was surprisingly large. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was ok, nothing special. Only two elevators, both were slow. Manhattan is small, so location was fine.

Room was clean and had kitchen which helped a lot,theres a store around the corner where you can buy food and heat in microwave, Front desk people not very friendly and does not smile, It would make guests feel more welcome if you smile a little bit.

Walking distance to empire state about 4 blocks away, and to grand central station and chrysler bldg.Aboput 30 minn= walk to times square.We walked a lot and could be at the west side in 20 to 30 min.
