“I will Go Back”
This was an older hotel, but very well kept up. My room was very clean and the biggest room I have ever had in New York City. The location was also great! The staff was very helpful!
“Just What I Needed”
Hotel room was very pleasant. Everything was clean, furniture was comfortable. Was there only overnight so I didn't use the kitchen area. Time Square is just about a mile away - easy walking distance. If ever the need to stay in the city for multiple days - would gladly make Murray Hill my first choice.
“Great hotel!”
My room was upgraded when I checked it. It was huge and everyone there was very friendly and helpful.
“Pleasant stay”
Room provided more than I needed, but nice to know kitchen available (for future use)
“Best deal in NYC”
We stayed the weekend before Christmas 2009. The hotel is in a great location for exploring mid-town and the surrounding neighborhoods. It's close to shopping; has a great, if limitied, view; has a wonderful and helpful staff; is very near a good diner and we loved it. Also - it was so much fun to be there during the big snow storm!
“Great Location”
Murray Hill East was in a great location, close enough to walk to many sites and Grand Central. The hotel staff was very kind and courteous. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small. The only problem encountered was the elevators (only 2) and can be quite slow during peak times. Well worth the price. I would recommend this hotel to any one of my friends or family members. Would definitely stay here again!!
“Great Loncation”
Stayed at this hotel for one week. Great location, between Lexington and 3rd Ave. The hotel is in more of a residential/business area. Three blocks from Grand Central Station with easy access to the subway system. You can take the shuttle to Times Square and the green line will take you to China Town, Litte Italy, and Ground Zero. Take the shuttle and from there walk to the Blue Line and get off at 81st St and you're right at the Museum of Natural History. Lots of places to eat right around the hotel. Pub and bars within a block and a half, but very crowded after work. Scotty's on Lexington has a great breakfast. Within walking distance to many attractions in Midtown Manhattan.
“Favorite NYC hotel”
Murray Hill East might not be the most modern hotel but it is consistently clean, comfortable, and a great value. I've been staying here since 2003 on a fairly regular basis. Although I have had to stay at other hotels once in a while, I always come back to Murray Hill.
“I'll keep going back to this Hotel”
Reasonably priced clean spacious rooms with kitchen facilities, and location, location, location: just blocks from Grand Central Station with plenty of restaurants and groceries within easy walking distance. I've stayed here twice, and won't bother looking for another NYC hotel. This is the place for me.
“Best Choice!”
The room we stayed in was very large for the price with a full bedroom, kitchen, and living area. The service was exceptional. Although this hotel doesn't have the luxury appeal, it was perfect for a long stay. It was very clean. I love the pillows! I would certainly come back again if I were staying for more than just a few days.
