Great location in Brooklyn

Posted Jan 27, 2015
The Nu Hotel is a wonderful hotel to stay at when visiting Brooklyn. It is near everything. You are steps away from Smith street with all the restaurants ,bars, and shopping. Atlantic Ave is a stones throw away. It was a 1 block walk to the F train to go into Manhattan for the shows or dining. Park Slope is either a two minute cab ride or a ten minute walk away as well. Will be back.

Great stay!

we had a great stay at the NU hotel. Highlights: fantastic nearby food options, close to several trains, walking distance to Barclays, and centrally located in brooklyn. Our room was lovely and pretty spacious for a New York city hotel room. The staff was perfect - so helpful! No negatives! The NU hotel is definitely our new Brooklyn go-to hotel.

This is a great hotel. Accommodations are modern and clean and spacious, by NY standards. The hotel offers free continental breakfast and is dog friendly! My husband and I will definitely stay here again!

My stay was pleasant, and the staff was wonderful.

Pros: I liked the lobby, and the atmosphere it projected. I enjoyed the breakfast. the staff was very helpful.
Cons: I think it is an excellent place to stay for the price.. I can not think of improvements that would be necessary.
Location: I had a business meeting. I did not sight see.
I stayed at NU and found it was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed.

Located in a great area of Brooklyn.

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Easy check in and clean.
Cons: Shower heads in 313
All good except the shower situation could use help. Could not adjust shower heads so the water would not spray all over the floor. (Rm313) Breakfast was delicious except for way way overlooked hard boiled eggs. We would be happy to return.

Pros: The room was very comfortable and quiet. Amazing pillows on the bed.
Location: The location in downtown Brooklyn was perfect...its close to everything!
I only stayed one night...but the hotel was perfect for that time. It was very easy to access and in a great location. I would definitely go back again when staying in New York.

Nice but beds hard and can't fully control temp.

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: staff, breakfast, size, cleanliness
Cons: Let guests have more freedom of room temperature. Get pillow top pads on beds.
Location: a block from Brooklyn Tabernacle. Good restaurants and shops very close by.
Room temp can't go below 65, so I was too warm to sleep well. Beds too hard for me. Nice sized room. Good continental breakfast. Front desk staff great.
