New York is a great place to by!

Pros: The elevators were fast..the way they divide up the floors is good. great location...housekeepers were very good and polite and helpful. decor is fine
Cons: They need refrigerators in rooms...larger bathroom counter...larger restrooms on first floor...
Location: Great location...!!
We sat in the lobby bar to wait for friends and were told that we had to order something or get up! NOT GOOD! There was only ONE other table being used at the time. The main bar did not open till 530pm - lobby bar was not big enough to handle the crowd esp on Saturday afternoon... The lobby bar needs more tv's - Saturday afternoon football crowd was big...

Great location

Hotel location was great for walking to Time Square. Got there very early and they held our luggage without a charge until our check-in at 3 pm. Only negative was the noise. We could hear the people next door talking and laughing until midnight!!

Excellent central location for visitors to NYC

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Room decor refresh
Location: Rockefeller Centre, Central Park and Times Square all short walk
Really well located hotel close to Rockefeller Centre on 6th Avenue. Great views from the 43rd floor room. Wlaking easy to Central Park, Top of Rock and Times Square. Hotel also has Ice bar on Ground Floor. Room was big but could have done with a splash of paint given price we were paying but was clean and spacious and comfortably fitted our family of 5 in the suite. Great location for those wanting to be in the heart of Midtown

Great location, wonderful people but very dated

Posted Oct 27, 2014
This is NOT a 4-star hotel. While the lobby, people, and location provide the hotel to be a great 4-start hotel, the facilities themselves (mostly the rooms) are not well kept or updated. The carpet is coming off the floor, bathroom drain didn't flow well, mold and dirt are found around the tub, sink and walls in the bathroom. Expedia lists the hotel as having free wifi but it does not unless you're a diamond HHonors member.

Very good choice for mid-town NY

Posted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: The beds, the pillows, the location, the elegant look of our room, great TVs, breakfast and the Executive Lounge where it was served.
Cons: The lighting in the rooms. Too much on the soft side for me. One lamp in the bedroom (we were in a suite) would go on all of a sudden for no reason.
Location: It's mid-town; anything and everything is a walk, a subway, a cab drive & a very good Italian restaurant - a bit pricey though, called Il Gattopardo.
I was very pleasantly surprised how beautiful and up scale it felt since I did not really expect that. It felt like a Four Seasons more than a Hilton. But I do love the Conrad too, downtown - a HIlton hotel. I was very surprised though that it did not have a full service restaurant. We got in late and was going to have room service. They have nice options - Herb 'N Kitchen (limited menu) and the bar has a few things. But they must have made their decision based on research that with all the fine restaurants in NY, they don't need one in the hotel. Excellent breakfast choices though in house.
