“Place to lay down briefly”

Amenities that were promised were false. No local calls-phone did not work. Cable was poor condition with no local channels working. Begged for the iron and hairdryer. No alarm clock. It was clean, but old. Location was great! 1 Block to Time Square and inside Theater District.

“Appalling”

We booked 2 rooms. 1 stank to high heaven such that we couldn't bear to even enter it; i thought it stank of vinegar, my friend thought it was Branston pickle. The other room was much bigger with 3 double beds and wasn't too bad but was very basic with a tiny shower-room and overlooked 8th avenue with only single glazing and so was incredibly noisy so i had no sleep. we left after 1 night and went somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone

“I never go back”

Carpets bad and dirty,curtains tear and dirty,bathroom implements in bad conditions,no elevator,the stairs in very bad conditions,narrow,and no help with the luggage.

Rooms were smaller then an average residensial bathroom. Had to walk up four floors of stairs, no elevator. Dirty stairways & hallways.

“Very bad hotel conditions, service is ok”

Hotel is very old and conditions are bad. Rooms are extremely small. People are friendly and polite.

“Shabby”

The hotel itself is shabby but it looked like they were renovating the small lobby. The room was not clean when we got there, although they cleaned it right away when I made them aware. The room looked like it was about to fall apart. The bathroom was too small to even move around in. Half of the coat rack was coming out of the wall, part of the shower curtain was hanging by a wire, the head of the mattress sloped down and there were holes in the wall.

“A dump of classic proportion”

THE worst of the worst...no elevator...no PHONE !!!!!! Dirt and garbage in the halls. A bathroom the size of a closet...dirt on the baseboards...a disgusting place to stay. Expedia should do its users a favor and NEVER offer this flop house again

“Hotel new York Inn”

this hotel is not even a 1 star hotel, is a motel. no telephone on the rooms, the room is 6x6, no biger than that! so small!!!!!! The sheets are a piece of white fabric over the bed... extension cables all over the room. the bathroom is so small too. i don't recomend this hotel to anybody!!! for a couple more dollars you can stay in a really hotel, this is not even a hotel.
