Excellent hotel in a great location, close enough to walk to Times Square, Broadway and 5th Avenue but not to close to be noisy. Very close to the subway. If you want a great breakfast experience go to Pick a Bagel which is just a short walk away.

Staff has an attitude now

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff training
Location: Great Location! Across from Carnegie Hall, walking distance to central park, times square and shopping. Great restaurant next door and deli on corner.
I have stayed 4 times before and loved it! But this time the staff did not want to help in anyway to make this a great experience. No help with luggage or getting a cab. Front desk had to finish a personal chat with other employees before letting us know how annoying it was to have to check us in. She rolled her eyes when she saw us! We needed an extra towel but a 1 1/2 hour wait and 3 requests gave us no extra towel and none the next day when requested again. I am saddened by losing a great hotel that I thoroughly enjoyed and recommended but without a total overhaul of the staff I will never stay there again myself.

Great Location to Times Square and Central Park

Pros: Location
Excellent! It sucks though they don't have room service but then food is available just outside the hotel so not a big deal.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Posted May 26, 2015
Cons: in-room coffee maker
Location: shopping, lots of choices of restaurants and diners
My daughter and I enjoyed our hotel stay. It was a clean and comfortable, as well as a convenient location. The only disappointment was that you didn't include an in-room coffee pot for that first morning"cup of joe"? It was actually surprising that a hotel of your caliber lacked that one small luxury.

Wonderful hotel. Great location for shopping. The hotel staff is very nice. No problems. Great room. Snacks in the lobby. Near most trains. Banks nearby. Check it out if your looking for a nice hotel in Manhattan.

Very Disappointing

Posted May 23, 2015
I had two issues with my stay. The first is the Internet didn't work and the IT department never got back to me. I went to the front desk twice and I still paid for the service. Secondly, when I went to my room one night I opened the door and a mouse ran out of my room. I panicked and called the front desk and they apologized and said they would send someone up and no one came and nothing else was done not even a follow up. And I emailed the front desk manager about my stay and still no one has contacted me. Sad place.

Good location but..................

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: good location to my company's NY office
Cons: Hotel needs a makeover.
Room was very noisy overlooking 7th Avenue. Carpets are worn and a bit dirty. What I really did not like was the mandatory "$25 per day "convenience fee" that covers the use of the health club, business center, and wi-fi............. none of which I used but for which I was charged. Apparently on pg 82 in the fine print. Also some trendy Euro-style desk lamp that has no on-off switch, so I had to unplug it to turn it off. Also so not like that the windows have only a room darkening shade for sleep and privacy. No sheer through which light could come in. So the only options are total exposure to the offices across the street or pitch black. Not very smart of them

Nice hotel but not exactly expectation

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: The location was good
Cons: More affordable parking would be good. Also have something in place to quickly intervene in case of water leaks.
Location: 5 min walk to central park and 10 mins away from time square. Lots of subway access as well.
The hotel seemed very nice, we booked a premium room and was a bit disapointed that premium rooms start on 11th floor and that's the floor we end up on. Was hoping for a room on a higher floor. An issue also occured with the room on the 2nd night of our weekend stay. Water started leaking into the room near the window from the floor above. Probably the air conditioner above. We advised the hotel staff when we noticed it at 8pm, and when we got back at 11pm nothing had yet been done around midnight finally we talked with hotel management and we came to a compromise. I was hoping for a higher level of satisfaction since this was our Wedding aniversary.
