Perfect location on S/E corner of Central Park

Perfectly appointed with Park View if a lavish room service menu is not needed, and a middle of the road bathroom is acceptable. Would go again.

Lovely, large room. Always quiet. Very comfortable bed. Extraordinary location. Check in staff was quick and efficient - even upgraded me to the 40th floor. I gave the staff a 3 because when my key card wouldn't open the door, they seemed mildly annoyed. And of the 2 new key cards they gave me, only 1 worked. And this was on day 3 of my stay so I don't think it was operator error. Other than that, this was an amazing hotel. I would go love to be able to stay there again.

Not much to offer

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Closeness to Times Square
Cons: Give free wifi Put mini bars. Not everyone likes to shop
Location: Times Square... That's the hottest spot in NY city
Rooms were clean but that's about it No mini bar No free internet No free parking These things people look at. Location was great, not the smell from the horses, but the other stuff is just as important. I'd look for another place that offers more than a room

Nice hotel in front of Central Park

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location and the room. Floor 37th with a wonderful view
Cons: Amenities in the bathroom
Location: The location is great and you can do whatever you want.
We spent a wonderful week end. The hotel is a very good location. You have the Central Park. Is very close to the Metropolitan Museum, one block distance to 5th avenue. Plenty of cafes and retaurants.

Great hotel for family with kids.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Rooms were nice size...not your typical tiny NYC hotel room.
Cons: Paint was peeling off the ceiling near the windows. Bathrooms could be updated.
Location: Easy walk to Central Park and museums.
Great location near the park. Plenty of shopping and eating within a short walk.

Rooms were not particularly nice given the cost, room service is breakfast-only, and an inordinate amount of time was taken to deliver something when I called the front desk.
