Nice place.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: The offering of the shuttle more than 1 time a day would be nice.
Location: The location is in an ultra-orthodox Jewish neighborhood, very family orientated. There are not restaurants "right around the corner".
My husband and I enjoyed the hotel. The room was surprisingly large, with a kitchenette and very comfy beds. The hotel is not close to amenities like coffee shops, restaurants or bars. The subway is about a 7 block walk which was quite easy. Once you got to the subway station, it was easy to manuever around. There is construction going on next store to the hotel so for two of our days jack hammering began at 7:30 am. I wish their shuttle to Manhattan was more than once a day, I think that is something that would be nice for the hotel costumer.

Very comfortable, and good value for money

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful; room well-sized and comfortable; excellent value for money
Cons: Lift is a bit slow; would be good if they did shuttles a few times a day into Manhattan, or to the nearest subway
Location: Great coffee cafe (Brooklyn Cogffee Roaster) about 10 mins walk along Flushin Ave towards Manhattan
Clean hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

nice but wouldn't stay again

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: the room was very nice, the breakfast was great and had a nice selection, the cab service in the morning was great as well. the room was clean.
Cons: shouldn't offer services that they cannot provide to a high standard, they should have better customer service when dealing with problems.
Location: The hotel was about a 15-20 minute walk to the subway, there is not much to do nearby.
The staff were pleasant, the room was nice, it was a bit far from main parts of town. the free cab service in the morning was great for getting into town. free breakfast was good and had a good selection.

Huge suite, very clean!!!

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
Location: Location was a little far away from the action on Bedford St., but we could walk there, as well as to the subway station.
The hotel staff was very helpful in helping us navigate the subway system, as well as calling a car service for us. The suite was huge, updated, and had tons of closet and shelf space.

Brooklyn hotel with good access to NYC

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Location is good for Brooklyn and NYC and staff are really helpful. They run one free transport bus into Times Square every morning at 0930h.
Cons: Breakfast room far too small for residents. Breakfast good so if no tables, grab a tray and take it back to your room.
Location: If you are staying for while get a $30 week pass for the Subway and buses. So much to do in both Brooklyn and Manhattan - transport is so easy to use.
Good, comfortable hotel with great staff - all friendly, helpful and professional. Location in Brooklyn is about 10-15 minute walk from two different subway lines, each going towards Manhattan. The only quibble is that the breakfast room is too small - if you cannot get a table then use a tray to take breakfast back to your room. Breakfast is "continental" - so juices, coffee's, teas, various bagels and spreads, muffins and Danish pastries - but serve yourself, so no limit during 6am to 10am opening. No restaurant in hotel so plan where to eat as part of your holiday experience.

made us feel at home

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: The room was massive and the staff so helpful and kind, free coffee 24/7 and a great breakfast with so much to choose from pastries, cereals, eggs.etc
Cons: a bit of a clean up outside.
Location: A out of it 24 dollars taxi trip to Fulton Mall for shops then quite a walk to Brooklyn Bridge and the Hudson
My mother and I arrived 3 hours early but a room was ready in 20mins not the basic double we booked but a double king size suite. The staff were so helpful, not that we had to ask for much only batteries for the safe which the last visitors had taken. The staff rang taxis for us when ever we needed them to go sightseeing coming to the only negative you just cant walk to any sights. I suppose we could have taken buses but the area is not well signposted and we were not there long and didn't want to waste time hunting out public transport.

Nice hotel in safe area

Posted May 29, 2014
I truly enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is nicely priced, the area feels safe and the staff is welcoming. I had a large, quiet and clean room. There is a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway-station, but for this guest walking in the area was an experience in itself. Will clearly stay at this hotel again next time I return to NYC.
