Old hotel, no toiletries, bad quality towels, rude sttaff, no hot water at times, bad shower water pressure, definitely not a VIP+ hotel!

NIce clean hotel a bit far from the train station.Posted Jul 21, 2015
Location: We felt very safe in the neighborhood.
Great experience, the towels for this hotel are very thin, and had to request extra's daily. Water and soda machine was not cold.

Pointe Plaza Hotel in Brooklyn, NYPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: price ~~ friendliness
Cons: don't know ~~
Location: Don't know much about the area ~~ I just needed it to be near Peter Lugar's Steakhouse.
The hotel location was excellent for us. I had never been to Brooklyn before and do not know the neighborhoods. The hotel upgraded us to a suite with a kitchen, which we did not need or use, but it had a kitchen that had a sink for dairy and a sink for meat. There was not one dish, spoon, pot or pan in the place, so I guess if you intend to use a kitchen there you need to bring your own stuff. They have a self parking lot a block away that has a coded gate and costs $25 per day with in and out privileges. The staff was very friendly.

Gutes Hotel in spannender GegendPosted Jul 14, 2015
Jederzeit wieder!

Pleasant stay!Posted Jul 13, 2015
I enjoyed myself and the staff was wonderful! The neighborhood was mostly quiet and easily assessible to many bus lines. There weren't many eateries or restaurants in the area though be prepared to walk!

In Jewish CommunityPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Breakfast included.
Cons: Metro is not close by, free shuttle would be great. You get kicked out of the Breakfast room exactly at closing time 10 am and cannot finish eating.
Location: It's in a Jewish Community, Location is not the best, quite a walk to the subway.
Nice clean hotel. No bar, restaurant not very close by. Metro a bit far.

Didn't match expectationsPosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: The free use of the laundry and the business centre. The size of the suite was lovely. Not many hotels give you that much space.
Cons: Replacement of the linen and servicing of the room airconditioner.
Location: This hotel is in the Hasidic Jewish area of Brooklyn. A subway station is within walking distance to give you access to the sights of New York.
Reception staff friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the room did not live up to expectations. The room had a wonderful kitchen facility but there were no utensils or crockery. We were given some, on request, but it was a very limited range. The beds were very soft, definitely due for replacement. The towels, sheets and duvet cover had all seen better days. The towels, in particular, were very thin and hard. The housekeeping was basically limited to the changing of the towels. A top sheet would have been appreciated, especially as the bedroom airconditioner was so noisy we couldn't use it. The duvet was far too warm without an effective airconditioner. The included breakfast was satisfactory, the only grumble being the small size of the room.
