Decent Room - No A/C

Posted Jun 25, 2015
The hotel and room was decent. However, the air conditioner in the room did not work causing quite a bit of inconvenience.

Affordable,quiet,clean

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: staff, cleanliness, price, location, ability to get a smoking room which is rare
Cons: refrigerator didn't work,
My wife and I spent three nights at this motel on a trip to see mostly Manhattan. Room was clean, staff was very helpful and the price was affordable. One block from the bus which takes you to the Staten Island ferry which is a free ride to Manhattan.

Good place to stay for NYC's 5-boro ride

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Close to the Staten Island ferry. Had a restaurant to go to that was walking distance. Clean, small and low-key environment with friendly staff.
Location: Conveniently located off the Staten Island Expressway (278) and also Victory Ave. A couple of places to eat nearby that were not fancy or expensive.
My friend and I stayed at the Ramada Staten Island the night before New York City's 5-Boro ride. It was very convenient to stay there because it is relatively close to the Staten Island Ferry, which we took to get to Battery Park in Manahattan. Quite a few other bikers where staying there. All we needed was a place to stay the one night and the Ramada Inn served our needs perfectly. The place was very clean and the staff was very nice. Couldn't ask for anything more. We had dinner at a pizzeria/Italian restaurant that was nearby and that we were able to walk, so that was very convenient.

Nice rooms, but location a little inconvenient.

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Cons: Internet access could be more convenient.
Location: Victory Blvd is close by and provides access to nice some local parks.
The hotel is on a one way street north of the Interstate, so access can be a little inconvenient. Somehow the wireless system kept forgetting my access, and I had to log back in several times. Otherwise the rooms are very nice, clean and spacious.
