Lovely Hotel in Very Central Location

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Had a fabulous three night stay at The Refinery to celebrate my wifes 50th Birthday. The hotel is extremely close to all Manahattan attractions which meant it was an easy walk from Penn station on our arrival and close to Macys!, 5th Avenue, Empire State building, Time square, theatres on Broadway and many more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and when we checked in early (around 1.30pm) there was no problem. They also gave us the choice of street or rear of the hotel. The street is slightly more busy but not really an issue as we were on 7th floor. The rooms are very modern with all expected extras. There is a fabulous rooftop bar/dining area with an amazing view of the Rockfellar Centre. I was absolutely delighted with our stay as I had never been to New York before but would definitely book again!

GREAT hotel in very good location

Posted Jan 12, 2015
We stayed 2 nights in a 2 double bed room. Room - was quite large, comfy, clean and overall had a nice vibe to it. Shower - great as well, we loved the bath products by the way. Service - really really excellent from top to bottom. Each person we came in contact with was very nice. Location - very good - close enough to Penn station and Times Square. We really liked this hotel.

Cons: The presentation of our room service breakfast wasn't very impressive, to say the least, but the quality of the good was OK
Very good looking hotel. Lots of interesting, unique art. Everything is very clean and modern, without being sterile. Staff was VERY welcoming and accomodating.

Anniversary break to NYC

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Our room was a good size with a nice bathroom and double shower. Rooftop terrace was great with amazing views.
Cons: Small things; more hanging space, mini bar perhaps more expensive than necessary.
Location: Location was spot on, everything easily accessible within walking distance. 2 blocks from Times Square, 3 blocks from Empire State, right on 5th Ave.
We spent 4 nights and 3 days in New York, they were busy days and nights but we did see everything we wanted to: Lots of shopping including Macy's, Bloomingdales, Tiffany & Co, Superdry Grand Central Station and Chrysler Building Top of the Rockefeller Centre Top of the Empire State Building Intrepid Battery Park, Wall Street and Ground Zero Brooklyn Bridge Statue of Liberty Times Square Central Park Would highly recommend.

Excellent boutique hotel

This hotel is very trendy and stylish. The location is fabulous and very close to Times Square and 5th Avenue and as such, walking is the preferred option. The reception received is warm and efficient. The room was gorgeous. The Hotel tried hard to keep its identify as part of the Garment District and there are lots of nice touches such as exposed pipes and quirky furniture combined with wood floors, modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. Roof top bar is definitely worth a visit - the view of the Empire State Building is fantastic. Winnie's Bar has live music most nights and is very chilled. Definitely recommended.

快適なホテル

Posted Jan 2, 2015
