Great location and hotel all in one !Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Location , room size , Bar / lounge atmosphere
Cons: Because of location .. I wish someone was checking for room keys as people took elevators to rooms ..
Location: EVERYTHING .... is right there !
front desk check in was fast at friendly , room size was great for NYC. Lounge is the BEST place in times square . the Staff could not have been more helpful ..This was my second time in this hotel .. and it will not be my last ...

Pros: The rooms are good size for NY, the bathroom is very modern.
If you are looking for a hotel in the Times Square or Broadway location the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel is great as Time Square is out the door from the hotel.

Clean and comfortablePosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: location and cleanliness
Location: location was Times Square. Very convenient to theatres.
There for a show. Very close to the theatre, which was great. Beds were very comfortable. Beds, room, and bathroom were very clean - most important thing to me. Good shower, good hot water. Terrible view, but we didn't care about that. Pretty noisy, but can't complain about that when staying at Times Square, or can you? I asked for a cup of coffee in the morning, and was directed to the "buffet", and I asked if there was a charge for the cup of coffee and was told "no, not for ONE!" Ok, just one. Thanks.

When is a club floor NOT a club floorPosted Mar 26, 2015
Given that this was a business trip, I booked a club floor room for the added amenities, breakfast, etc. that one normally (the operative word here) finds throughout 99% of hotels. Clearly hotels upcharge for this, but I find the convenience worth the added cost. However, the Renaissance Time's Square claims they have club floor rooms and charges for such, BUT they do NOT have a club floor. Interestingly they do not point that out when booking. Front desk staff was less than helpful. I would recommend you keep with a regular room and save the up charge. Further given their response to my concerns, there are numerous more business friendly hotels in New York.

Location is perfectPosted Mar 25, 2015
The location of this hotel is excellent. It is in the middle of the action, yet not in the middle of the crowdedness of the Time Square. The rooms doesn't overlook the Time Square. The staff are very nice and helpful.

In middle of everythingPosted Mar 20, 2015
2nd floor of the hotel has the best 270 degree 'heated' view of times square which is great for people watching. Hotel is in perfect location to walk to most of the Manhattan's sights.
