“Great Airport Hotel”

I am a former travel writer and never have I experienced better service, Furthermore, the restaurant and bar were excellent, with good prices and tasty food.

“Nice Hotel”

This is a very nice hotel. The only criticism would be the charges for internet service. The charge is for the time period of 3:00pm that day until 3:00pm the next day regardless of when the service is purchased. I arrived late (12:00am) and needed to check e-mail and that was it. I was out early the next day and had no further need for the internet service but was still required to pay for the entire day.

“Can't wait to go back”

I can't wait to go back. my stay was everything i thought it would be. An added surprise was the fact that the hotel have just recently installed large lcd t.v. i was delighted! the food was delicious and filling. I was very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly.

“The Best' Doubletree Hotel Airport Newark”

I had the best time at the Doubletree Hotel. The rooms were the best and the employees are great. Can't wait to go back.

“Friendly Staff and a Great Value.”

Overall I have to say that our stay was pleasant. For the price of the room you can't go wrong. We did have a minor problem with the air conditioning in our room though. They tried to fix the problem and couldn't. We moved to another room with no problem at all. Staff was very polite and apoligized about the situation. I couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the staff were. I have been to New York before, but never stayed in New Jersey, so I wasn't to sure about the trains and how to get into the city. The staff helped us above and beyond what they had to. The rooms were beautiful and clean and it had a very nice pool. It was a great trip and I can't wait to go back.

Comfortable Hotel, clean and classic..bathrooms are large and spacious! Rates overall much nicer then the others in the area...Will contiune with this hotel... Shuttle is prompt and staff are friendly and timely...Food could be better, however overall I am happy with my stay.

“Great service, helpful staff but had two fire drills”

We had a great stay at the Doubletree near the airport. We got very good directions from the staff when we needed them. There was a barbershop singing convention and groups were practicing in the hallways, but we didn't hear them in our room. However, on each of the first two days of our visit, someone pulled a fire alarm and the hotel had to be empty. Both turned out to be false alarms. Checking in and checking out were easy. The only things I'd suggest is providing free, in-room wireless access and knocking down the price of parking (free would be good).

“Wow”

Recently remodeled rooms done beautifully. How many hotels offer you a HUGE screen Plasma TV on the wall. This one did with ALL the channels. The beds were WONDERFUL, the bedding very comfortable. Large bathroom. I could have stayed MUCH longer. AND...all at a very reasonable rate. It will be my choice next visit.

We only stayed for one night before heading to Manhattan but it was quite nice. Very fairly priced, clean, and safe. Would recommend!
