My Stay at The RowPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Everything especially the customize elevators!!!!
Cons: Maybe add a true dining room.
Location: Centrally located in the theater district, lots of restaurants and fast food shops, close to the trains and cabs and Central Park and shopping galore!
Arriving, I found plenty of personel to assist me. That was a plus within itself because most of the time you have to "hunt" for assistants. So I was surprised when I was approached by a hotel employee. Check-in was a breeze. Love the customize elevators!!! It made me feel very important. Lol. The room was impeccably clean. Next time I'll have to request a bigger room. I had too many clothes. Lol. Room service was fantastic. Housekeeping did a super job on cleaning and replacing towels daily. Most of time I would pass housekeeping personel in the hallway and they always said "Good morning"!! This is a plus for any hotel because it let customers know that they care about our business and we are wanted there. Kudos to the Row NYC!!!

Great location, but tiny roomPosted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: mattress and pillows
I chose this hotel because of its great location: walking distance to the Time square and the theater district. It is completely renovated and the lobby looked great. However, when we got to our room- it was less than we've expected. The bathroom was so tiny that I couldn't place my toileteries and such without it falling off the little shelf. My husband and I were traveling with our eight year old, so we had two double beds. I guess it would have been better for just two of us.

hotel roomPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: close to times sq.
Cons: There is nothing the hotel can do about the very small room sizes or the extract fan noise.
Location: well located for times sq, central park, maces etc
Travelling with my 16 year old son, booked a room with twin single beds. None available on arrival at 7 pm ( late arrival due to 2 hour plane delay) Given a room with a double (queen ) bed as no other available, desk clerk very apologetic as she knew clearly it was too small a room. Room very small, unacceptably so for a 6-1 and 5-9. Was told by check in to try for a different room the following morning but hotel fully booked and the requested twin single not available leaving no choice but to upgrade to twin double. Whilst the web site says 4 pm check in, hotel clearly allows early check in so better rooms go early. Double bed room ok if you like a room with limited storage space and happy living out of your suitcase, whilst trying to swing a cat around your head. Hotel close to Times Sq but check very very carefully the room sizes before booking. Also be wary of the position of your room as those at the rear have extract fan air conditioning noise which will wake you up if you unless you take ear plugs.

Yikes!Posted Aug 18, 2014
Nothing like some other guest's whiskers (or worse) in the sink that won't drain. I almost puked. This hotel seen bigger than the staff can handle. Everything, elevators and buttons, walls and common areas as well as lobby area and furniture were filthy. Yuk!

Close to almost all tourist attractionsPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Clean, close to almost tourist attractions.
Cons: More amenities . Coffee maker, microwave or refrigerator
Location: Close to Time Square, Empire State, restaurants, some shopping.
Overall good experience. I was hoping though of more amenities. At least a coffee maker or microwave, or refrigerator in the rooms.
