Lovely hotel - great locationPosted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The location of the hotel was great, it was modern , quite "trendy" hotel. The cocktails were great and in the evening the bar was popular
Cons: In the room there were lots of goodies - food drink, even candles, but was a disapointed that the candles were charged for
Location: Very close to Times Square, Byrant Park, Central Station, Libary, Empire State, Rockerfeller..........
We arrived for a 4 night stay. Quite dark when we entered and initially difficult to see where the reception was, checked in quickly and the room was large, clean and modern. The hotel is really central and was close to times square the road is quiet road so not too noisey.

Nice hotel near Time SquarePosted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: Very convinient, the location was 2blocks away from Time square. Hotel room was very cozy, clean, very simple elegant design.
Cons: Can provide silent environment in the lobby
Couldn't recognize the Bell man because they were wearing normal casual clothes with a hat of their own to cover the head. Second was if you dont't like noisy place I do not recommend this place. In the lobby the whole place is a bar. If you like the bar environment with loud songs and people talking everywhere, then it is for you. If you prefer quieter place, I recommend Sofitel hotel right across from Royalton.

Nice to stayPosted Feb 18, 2014
It's pretty nice and cozy to stay in, the funny thing was that it took me a while to find the hotel, the front entrance was so not obvious to recognize and so as inside the checkin desk as well.

not really a rating 4 star hotel.Posted Feb 16, 2014
First, The space of the room is very small. Second, when I open the quilt, I even found two hair, this is unacceptable. Third, the parking fee is $56 a day , while its neighbor ,a parking lot， is 42 dollars a day.

Trendy and fun off of Times SquarePosted Feb 10, 2014
If you are looking for a hip, trendy, fun hotel they are hard to find near touristy Times Square and the Theater District. Royalton is a nice change from the other options and adds to the fun of going to a show. The hotel room is clean and nice. Service is excellent. Parking right next door if you have a car and the rates are reasonable. Really enjoyed our stay!

Edgy vibe/traditional qualityPosted Jan 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The public areas of the hotel are exceedingly dark. I agree with the rater who said it feels more like a nightclub than a hotel lobby. It's an edgy look that takes some getting used to if you're not a thirty-something, but I've seen plenty of marble and chandeliers, so this was an interesting change. The room was also quite modern, but I rather liked it. Service was fine. When I asked for an extra umbrella for the person I was about to meet for an evening out, in addition to the one which was already in the room (nice touch - no need to ask at desk for the first one), I was given one without even being asked for my room number. Ideal location for the theater district, but quieter than being in the middle of it. Convenient for going either uptown or downtown.
