Spacious family accomodationPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: spacious rooms
Cons: More comfortable sofa bed!
Location: Central park, Carnegie hall, Times Square, shopping. But easy access to all of New York on foot or by subway
Really good sized accommodation only 1 block from central park/ subway half a block and supermarket/ eateries on your doorstep. Rooms were clean and well presented with TV's in both rooms fridge, microwave, sink and air-con - better than we had expected. Bathroom was dated and small but clean and sufficient. Sofa bed was a bit lumpy but other beds were fine with good quality cotton bedding. Staff friendly and helpful and it was useful that we could store our bags until time for our flight. Would really recommend this accommodation for families with children or teenagers - its the size of a small flat and you can have separate bedrooms if you need them. Really good price and great base for exploring New York.

Good hotel with an excellent location.Posted Jul 24, 2014
We stayed in a family room which was very large & allowed us the space to relax at the end of long days! Beds were comfortable and rooms fully air conditioned. Location wise, walking distance to Central Park, Times Square, broadway & 5th Avenue. Few minutes walk to subways at 57th st & Columbus circle... Only negative would be 2 lifts to service 17 floors. Sometimes took a long time waiting! This could be true for most hotels in Manhattan though? Would recommend & use again ourselves.

Comfort Value in Centre of Manhattan IslandPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, comfortable, affordable, great staff, multinational clientel including Americans
Cons: The continental breakfast was very repetitive for someone staying a whole week.
Location: Excellent, central location. Many major visitor attractions are within short easy reach on foot, by taxi or subway.
The hotel's location is great, virtually in the centre of Manhattan Island, with many visitor attractions within a short walking distance. Hotel staff were really professional, always courteous, friendly and helpful. Our twin room was comfortable, pleasantly decorated and furnished. The en-suite bathroom was perfectly adequate. The continental breakfast, an optional extra costing ten dollars, was fine for a couple of mornings but soon became monotonous. Hotel staff were happy to recommend other breakfast venues nearby.

Great find! So glad we booked this hotel!Posted Jul 20, 2014
This was my two best friends and my first trip to NYC. We were travelling on a budget and I'm so glad we booked this hotel! Great location within easy walking distance to Central Park, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Subway entrance just a few doors down. Our room on the 12th floor was huge! Two double beds and a separate living room with a sleeper sofa. A flat screen in each room, mini fridge and a microwave. There was definitely a lot of noise from the street but it was easily drowned out by the air conditioner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the price of internet - $10 per day per device. We opted to forgo the internet - there's a Starbucks right across the street with free WiFi. There is a super nice grocery store right across the street and a pharmacy on the corner which helped save us a lot of money on eating out. I highly recommend Ray's Pizzeria just a couple of blocks down on 7th for an inexpensive dinner. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Don't even hesitate booking this hotel. I'm so glad I did!
