The design and overall use of space was superbPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Although in a busy and noisy part of town, the hotel room was extremely quiet and restful.
Cons: The water pressure in the bathroom sink was terrible. It was not even enough pressure to feel that I could get my hands very clean when I washed them.
Location: Good location of tourist activities. It was a great, central location from which to visit anywhere in the city.
The room was beautiful and the staff was very courteous and efficient.

Perfect location close to Times SquarePosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Thanks for the room upgrade.
Cons: Attitude of staff at check-in / enquiry counter
Location: Times Square Broadway
Doormen were extremely professional and courteous and always trying to go out of their way to help, much more so than the pretentious staff behind the check in counter.

Very Good boutiquePosted Aug 6, 2014
Very good overall, rooms not that big but comfortable and very well decorated. Only issue was external air con units but after first night this blurred into general outdoor noise. location is brilliant for mid town and hotel is hidden on w47th street near time square. Roof bar is very busy during happy hour and extremely pricey, lots of other bars nearby for food or drink. overall we loved the vibe and staff had brilliant attitudes and local knowledge. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend the hotel, if you are ok with no gym and conti breakfast you cant go wrong.

The Sanctuary was great. Especially Steven the front desk worker. He was very friendly and made sure I felt welcome.

Funky & FabulousPosted Jul 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was a good size for the two of us, kept very clean, with a nice walk-in closet & large bathroom, but a little disappointed there was no counter for toiletries, only a small shelf & trolley. We enjoyed both restaurants, the food & service were excellent. All the staff in the hotel acted very professional, albeit inviting & super friendly! We liked the dimmer lighting in the hotel, making for a nice relaxed atmosphere. It's close to Times Square & Broadway Theatres - a perfect location for first time visitors! We highly recommend this hotel for couples, singles or the business traveller!

Perfect StayPosted Jul 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was our first time in NYC and to be honest this hotel could not be more perfect. Its location is right in the heart of the city basically 2 blocks away from anything you might want!!!! The staff is super friendly and the Rooftop bar is so nice. Bedrooms are small but for NY you dont need much!I Highly recomend this hotel

Location is why we keep coming back. Service is the 2nd reason. Rooms are extremely small but we never hangout in the rooms. Free bkfst is convenient too

Round corner from Time Sq.Posted Jul 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Location was very close to Time Sq and the Rockefeller Centre (and subway station). The shops around Times Sq. close after 12am, so we were able to do some late night shopping before going back to the hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was better than I expected. Boiled and Scrambled egg, toast, bagel, porridge, tea and coffee, as well as fruits. Tea and juice were also available in the lobby throughout the day, which was nice! The room was a bit small, but I assumed this was the standard room size in New York.
