Great option in Midtown.Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: Close to Grand Central Terminal. Reasonably priced. Friendly desk staff.
Cons: Better informed bouncers inquiring if rooftop guests are with the hotel or just visiting.
Location: Near Grand Central Terminal. Decent walking distance to bars and restaurants.
I took a risk booking this hotel. There wasn't much information on it but I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was fantastic and very friendly. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and visited the rooftop bar. Service was a little slow at the restaurant and the bouncers for the rooftop bar weren't very courteous to the hotel guests, but nothing's perfect. The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise. It has a great view of the city. Additionally, very close to Grand Central Terminal.

Excellent location, clean and comfortablePosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: We liked the location, the friendly, helpful staff and the clean, comfortable room.
Cons: We never used the internet, as the daily charges for a connection were very high!
Location: The location is excellent with the Empire State and Chrysler buildings as well as Grand Central station and many eateries in walking distance
the hotel is very well located to walk to several important sights and also to the grand central station - an important point for us.

Last minute reservationPosted Jun 9, 2015
Made the reservation at the last minute. We have stayed here before and this was our natural, first choice of hotels. Check in took minutes as Expedia handled the booking flawlessly. We were upgraded to a suite level. Great place. Excellent value. Clean!

Tolles Stadthotel in Midtown ManhattanPosted Jun 8, 2015

Hübsches Hotel in guter LagePosted Jun 7, 2015

Great hotel great locationPosted May 29, 2015
Pros: Great restaurant and roof top bar.
Cons: No criticisms.
Location: Well located and convenient for attractions.
The hotel is situated in Murray Hill which is reasonably quiet, but well located in relation to the major attractions in Manhattan. It is just a few blocks from the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station and 5 minutes from 5th Avenue. The area is pleasant and safe and is a great place to base yourself from when in New York.

Hotel looks dated though staff are very goodPosted May 26, 2015
Hotel decor looks dated and could do with updating. Especially given the rates they are charging. Although the staff are extremely helpful and it appears staff helpfulness can be the hotel's USP
