I really loved this hotel

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: everything
Cons: the bathroom shower had no protection to keep the water from flowing onto the floor
Location: the hotel is located close to all I needed on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights
It's beautiful. The room was very comfy and elegant. The bed was scrumptious. The room was clean, peaceful and quiet. The bathroom was elegantly appointed although I must say the shower was open to the floor and the water ran out into the bathroom floor. A bit odd but not a huge concern. The hotel staff from desk to breakfast counter clerk, parking valet and driver service were all so very friendly, it made my first stay in Brooklyn extremely welcoming. I will definitely stay here again. Don't tell too many people, or this hotel will always be booked and the prices will rise.

Fine stay

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Desk, housekeeping, very helpful.
Cons: Who still charges for internet in the room (besides you)? Lose the plastic cups. Motel-izes you. Give me glass!
Location: 1. Juniors. 2. Good view of goombahs chatting out in the street. 3. Prospect Park. 4.Walter's, Madibe, Roman's, etc. etc. etc.
Friendly greeting once I found the door amidst the scaffolding. Nice fast elevators! Nice room. Quiet, clean, as I expected. Took a half-hour and a tech adviser phone call to get my mac on your network. The front desk person warned me that this might happen and it did. Very weak water pressure in the shower. Plenty hot, but not much water. Like the shampoo, etc. Didn't much care for your tp. Very much appreciate the comp. bottled water. Very nice! You have to provide glasses rather than plastic cups. So cheap, tacky, just wasted plastic. No fridge in room? I thought you guys were Sheraton!? Cost too much to get Turner Classic Movies? I would/will stay there again.

I spent a week at the Sheraton and was completely comfortable. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant -- they were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Dear Guest, It is such a pleasure to read your comment regarding your recent stay at the Sheraton. The staff works very hard to make sure all guests are comfortable and feel at home, so I am very happy you were able to experience that while you were here. Thank You for taking the time to share your feedback and for the great scoring! Kind Regards,

My wife wouldn't stop smiling!

Posted Nov 17, 2014
We love to get away from our jobs. We are low-maintenance couple and a trip to the Sheraton made us feel up-scale!!! The service was amazing and the people were so nice. My wife kept smiling and thanking me and I will definitely be going back.

Great hotel outside the NYC Hussle

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Location to the subway was ideal for travelling into Manhattan
Cons: With all the construction it was a bit difficult to find upon arrival. Use Fulton Mall as a location marker.
Location: 30 minute walk to the Brooklyn bridge. Around the corner from Fulton Mall (Macy's).
Nice hotel with good amenities and very close to the subway. Two stops from Wall St. Clean room and a view of the Statue of Liberty from the 25th floor. Staff was helpful and very pleasant.

I would stay again

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Clean room and courteous staff.
Cons: I only went into the restaurant bar Friday evening and they didn't have Kahlua to make a drink and were out of one of the beers we ordered.
Location: Close to subway entrance. We chose the location because it was close to family members.
The hotel and staff were very nice. The room was nice and I liked the style of the modern bathroom. However, one shelf in the shower is not enough to hold your shower supplies when there isn't tub sides to sit things on. I also missed not having dresser drawers and only a few shelves.

Nice hotel, great location

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights before flying out of the country, hotel staff was very nice and helpful, I booked a king room but when arrived got the double bed room instead, with construction noise, was disappointed, notified the staff and they gave me a king room on the 25th floor away from construction. Also got free wifi as compensation. And requesting a late check out was not a problem. Room was very clean with a huge TV and bed was very big and comfy, pool and hot tub only open at 5pm-10pm, pool is small and hot tub is nice, only got to use it one time because the other night the pool was closed due to some accident with a guest. I loved the gym and the fact that it was open 24 hours. Also loved that they have starbucks on site, location is good, lots of stores and restaurants around, very close to downtown, you can walk to the brooklyn bridge. They have a car service that I used to get to the airport. Overall very pleased with this hotel :) will defiantly come again.

Would have been a great experience but for the nonexistent water pressure in our 9th floor room. Showers were impossible. Management seemed oblivious to the situation.

Dear Guest, Thank You for taking the time to fill our a review regarding your recent stay. Please accept my sincere apology regarding your water pressure in your 9th floor room. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide our guests and I am truly sorry this happened to you. Our goal is to provide our guests with a welcoming, home-away-from-home, and to hear that we did not properly carry out this promise is very disappointing. Please know that this is not a typical service of our hotel. We take hospitality, very seriously and although frustrating, thank you for bringing this to our direct attention. It is through guest feedback such as yours, that we can continue to enhance and improve upon our experience for all of our guests.
