Room was very small.

Posted Jul 26, 2014
The room was very small but I suspect that is typical of New York City. A lot of construction in the area made it difficult to get to the main entrance. Staff was excellent.

I had to ask for a room change three times...

Posted Jul 22, 2014
My room with a cal king bed had a handicap bathroom that spilled water all over the floor. I asked for a room change three times and they forgot every time. I had to go down on day 2 and yell at the concierge.

weekend visit

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Generally clean and new. The food was good at the first Irish/Mex restaurant.
Cons: There were 8 elevators, but only 2 were working.
Location: Good walking to the Brooklyn Bridge.
Parking was open and one block away from the hotel. That mad us nervous, but we had no incidents.

I had a great experience. It is in a convenient location, respectful staff, has a pool and gym, surprisingly very quiet, room was clean. They should consider serving a continental breakfast and more TV channels. Overall, I had a great experience. Highly recommended.

Nice Brooklyn Hotel

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Conveniently located, clean, quiet, nice staff, not too expensive.
Cons: Shower design to stop water leakage. Better layout of furniture.
Location: Good location for Brooklyn and Manhattan. Lots of shops, restaurants and attractions nearby.
This hotel is situated in the middle of the shopping area in Brooklyn near to all the usual stores and restaurants. It is conveniently near several subway lines which will get you into Manhattan or further east into other parts of Brooklyn. If you aren't afraid of walking, you can get to a number of Brooklyn attractions and neighborhoods within half an hour. The room was very nice but had too many pieces of furniture in it which made it feel cluttered. The hotel was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The pillows were large and very luxurious. The bathroom was pretty good apart from the design of the shower which allowed water to escape far too easily resulting in a wet floor. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We did not eat in the restaurant. This hotel always seems to be busy and there is usually a crowd of people in the lobby so sometimes you have to wait to get to the reception desk.

Convenient and clean

Loved the location and the Starbucks in the building. Room was small but very nice and very clean. Staff needs to be more aware of area attractions and more prompt at check in. Overall very solid experience.

Reasonable for the money

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: nice beds and large TV.
Cons: Air conditioner was loud.
Location: close to Prospect Park and the neighborhood was reasonably save before 10p.m.
The lobby was small compared to the amount of rooms and you were not allowed in the rooftop dining unless you were dressed up (biz casual) so we could not go there. The other restaurant was a joke and that's why no one was in it. Room was TINY and no dressers, refrig or microwave, no iron or board either. Ice was always running out.
