“very nice place”
we really enjoyed our stay the close proximity of the subway was great. the neighborhood was 100 percent asian but we felt very comfortable there.
“Would go back”
Great location in the center of Chinatown and near City Field. Felt like we could have been in Hong Kong.
“Great location to the U.S Open”
This hotel was within walking distance to the U.S Open tennis center, which is why we chose it in the first place. The subway is right outside the door with access to the number 7 train which takes you to the U.S Open as well or straight to Times Square. On site parking was also helpful and not expensive.
“Nice and Convenient Near La Guardia”
See travel experience above. I spent less than 12 hours in the hotel so difficult to provide additional feedback.
“Chinatown Hotel”
Nice place to stay overall. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Just know that you are in Chinatown, and that there aren't many other restaurant choices within walking distance. The subway and LIRR are very close. I would recommend this to anybody.
“Excellent Staff”
We stayed at this hotel for he US Open. The shuttle picked us up from the airport and drove us to the Open each day. The subway and train stops are only a block away and staff helped with dining choices and directions.
“Very satisfied”
The only complaint I can think of is that the room had a subtle "deodorizer" (bordering on smoke) scent. Other than that the room was very nice and quiet. The beds were comfy, and I'm picky, especially with pillows. The front desk was helpful in selecting restaurants and the valet parking was efficient. The subway is just a block or two away, making this a great choice for a not-too-expensive home base for jaunts into Manhattan. Though I grew up in Flushing (a few miles from this hotel) I really did feel like I was in Hong Kong (in a very good sense, especially for the food!!)
“Convenient and comfortable”
The best thing about this hotel is the location. There are chinese restaurant right outside the property, light shopping is just a few steps away and the subway is also about 5 minutes away. Everything can be done on foot. Lots of breakfast choices within walking distance, don't eat the hotel breakfast unless you really hate chinese food! Oh and there is a drink shop around the corner to get some tea/juice if you are thirsty.
“Great P;lace to Stay”
I stay here on business frequently and really enjoy the hotel and the neighborhood. The staff are terrific and I love the beds, rooms and food.
“Beautiful Hotel”
The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, but you can tell that it is well maintained. There were a couple of parties in the hotel the night we stayed, but they were not disruptive at all. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. The only criticism I have is the valet parking. Our car could not be located right away because the attendant left the keys in the car, with the car unlocked, with the windows down. Anyone off of the street could have come into the garage and taken our car. Very irresponsible!!!!
