Good location but check room suitability fr guestsPosted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: Appropriate rooms should be offered to guests irrespective of being 'preferred guests' or not, especially if room has been pre-booked and paid for.
Location: Extremely good location with plenty of sites very close by.
As a family with two 'children' (24 & 21), we pre-booked one room with two double beds. I did ask for larger room availability (happy to pay extra) but was advised there were no corner rooms available. The room we were given had one bed and a sofa which was clearly unsuitable for 4 adults. We returned to reception, with luggage and then offered a room with two small double beds (4ft width) and very little floor space. We did accept this but spent 4 nights in a very cramped room with limited facilities, which did spoil our visit. Having stayed at this hotel before, I was very disappointed with the rooms that were offered to us, as pre-paying guests.

We spent 9 nights in the Sheraton. The receptionist guy (Edward) is a good host. He explained everything about the facilities we were affordable to.

Excellent locationPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Having a room on the 49th floor with a glimse of central park.
Cons: Dining options
Location: The hotel is in the middle of everything to do and see in NY. We were able to walk to everything.
NY has millions of visitors a year. Having experienced hotels all over the world it was hard to adapt to the feeling of being just one of the million visitors. The hotel is huge and staff was not use to individuals but mass. After the first experience I just changed my expectations to mass mode and everything was fine. I was a bit upset about my spg platinum status not applying because I had booked over expedia, but all in all the hotel was good and has excellent location.

Not as I would expected for Sheraton --Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: When I left
Cons: Sheet--covers--QUEEN size beds! Clean out better!! I don't want to see other peoples underwear!!
Location: Time Square--kinda close--would be better to stay closer to Downtown - or Top of the Rock.
Stay somewhere else, they are not very friendly, only the check in guy. Room was not cleaned-found hair clips, and underwear in the closet. Beds-are the worse part--too small--they are not queen size--too small for a normal size couple, and the sheets not nice, not good quality, or even close. They are loud -you can hear every time a person turns over!

Lovely Hotel. Right in the heart of Times SquarePosted Aug 21, 2014
Location: The hotel is very close to Central Park, Rocker fella Centre, Radio City Music Hall, the subway and Hop on Off Bus Tours.
Hotel staff really helpful especially Tour/Ticket Desk. They provide excellent information on what to do and how to get there. You can purchase your tours and attraction tickets there too. Our room was lovely on the 42nd floor. Cleaned everyday too. Would definitely go back there.
