Nice hotel in midtown Manhattan

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: We liked the close location to the subway, walking distance to many tourist sights, the cleanliness, friendly stuff, free laundry, and big fridge
Cons: The shower size could be a bit wider.
The hotel, a slim glasstower with small but pleasant lobby is close to the bus terminal with subway access in all directions. The good location offers walks to Time Square, Bryant Park, Empire State Building and Rockefeller Plaza. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early in the morning, and of course we couldn't get access to our room at that time. So we decided to do a midtown walk, and there we got after less hours the promised call that our room is already available. The hotel offers free internet access, and so we could order tickets for the ferry to the statue of liberty. The hard copy of the ticket was printed by a friendly stuff-member in the lobby. The room, equipped with a kitchenette was very convenient in seize, cleanliness and furnishing. Also the bathroom was clean and well equipped. Our stay in NY was in the summer. The hotel was filled with guests from the different continents, making the 3 elevators very busy around breakfast time. It is to recommend to use the offered shuttle to the airport instead of taxi due to the fix price. We had a great time, and we really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

Better than expected

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: location, and cleanliness.
Cons: get more comfortable pillows.
Location: a couple blocks away from time square, and great boutique restaurants.
For not being a five star hotel we were not expecting that the hotel was going to the as good as it was. From the check in to the check out we had no issues and the staff was friendly and helpful. We missed our checkout and were not charged any late fees or anything. The room is really cute with all the new appliances and the cleanliness of it. We loved it, my only complain would be that the pillows were a little to firm so most of the time i found sleeping out them. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends.

Great location.

Pros: Location and the kitchen facilities in the room was great.
Location: Close to Times Square and great shopping.
Although we arrived early in the morning due to a delayed flight, the check in staff member was very pleasant and welcoming. It was lovely to jump into a very comfortable bed for a good rest. Unfortunately we were on a floor that had a few families on it and the continual slamming of room doors was a little annoying to say the least. The air conditioning in the room was very efficient but way too noisy. They provide a breakfast buffet, but we found it very busy and a little unorganised. It was hard to find somewhere to sit and the tables were very low, making it difficult to eat properly with a knife and fork. Apart from that, it is a clean, friendly and quite comfortable place to stay.

Excellent hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2014
My bf and I stayed 4 nights and we were extremely happy with this hotel. Number one for us was that it was clean and a decent size. It was very clean and the room size was comfortable. It was a great addition to have a kitchen and it was utilized even though I didn't think that I would have. Staff was great and kind. Having free breakfast in the morning was awesome and so worth it! They had a variety of items like eggs, toast, fruit, cereal etc. you will be very happy with the breakfast and happy hour between 5-7 where they serve wine and beer and aswell served hot dogs as a snack. Overall, I give this hotel a 5! It is so close to Times Square! And 20 mins walk from Central Park! Definitely location is a five! And for those adventurers there is a huge train station called 42nd port authority 2 mins away! We took the train and travelled everywhere like Brooklyn, New Jersey, Long Island etc. For being centrally located in manhattan it is definitely worth it to stay here. FYI we are very skeptical about where we stay!

convenient location based on excursions planned

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: We appreciated that they allowed us a delayed departure time due to our taking extra (necessary) time at the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier and Shuttle.
Cons: Elevators quite slow during breakfast hours (due to free breakfast).
Location: NYC is easy to get around---we usually walk a lot, however it's still important to have a city and subway map which the hotel concierge can provide.
We liked everything about our stay, except that if we'd booked directly through StayBridge (probably costing more) we would have qualified for points. We found the hotel clean, the service at check-in and during the free breakfast buffet excellent.

Great hotel, Perfect location!

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: comfortable beds, very clean
Cons: nothing
Location: Times Square, Rockefeller Center, WTC Memorial etc...
Just returned from a 3 day stay visiting the city. Wonderful hotel, very clean, great complimentary daily breakfast and nice service overall. Jaime at the front desk and the other ladies working there are always willing to assist in any way possible. Awesome staff!! We got a great room on the 20th floor overlooking the Bus Terminal parking deck not a big deal, just another building in the city and adjacent high rises around Times Square. It was a really nice spacious view instead of looking into someone else's bedroom window. Truly a little gem in the middle of Manhattan. Can't wait to come back, will definitely stay again!

Nice hotel bad location

Posted Jul 13, 2014
The room was nice the water pressure not good we were on the 32nd floor. The buffet wasn't very good the workout room is in the basement where all the housekeeping workers are. Pretty scary if you are alone because workers(men) come in to get a drink while you are there without anyone else. All the laundry carts are right outside the elevators. The "business center" is 4 iPads on a wall in a hallway that was a joke. But if you are not going to be in hotel for those things it's fine!
