The walls were a little thin, as others mentioned, and you could hear some noise. But the accommodations were great and the location seriously can't be beat. Hotel staff was helpful and amenities were a nice bonus!

excellent location

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Difficult to control the thermostat.
Location: Right by times square, hells kitchen, everything was close.
The hotel was in an amazing location, right in the heart of the city but also one block down where it was not overly crowded. The hotel in general was very clean, modern, and beautiful. The room was very clean, well supplied, and spacious. I am overall very pleased with my stay at this hotel.

It was a trendy hotel. It was a little bit farther from Time Sqare than I am used too.

Very nice!

Great upper-middle tier priced, new-ish hotel, but the quality and comfort of the room are well above the price tier. Unspectacular location, but very convenient by foot to Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Chelsea and Times Square. Happy to have had the chance to stay there and will do so again.

Great trip!

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: The size of the room, the cleanliness, and how quiet it was for a NYC hotel room.
Location: Close to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden (where we saw a show). It was the perfect location for us. The room was large enough to comfortably hold our family of four. At first I was a little disappointed that our view was of the brick building next door. However, that helped the room to be exceptionally quiet for a New York City hotel room (i.e., no noise from sirens, horns, or traffic). The breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant was great. The staff were great and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel on busy street

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: huge room
nice hotel, massive room. location is very near to times square and but not the nicest street. hotel is directly opposite a police station so there was a lot of police cars outside but no disruption from sirens... only slight negative was there was a lot of roadworks/disruption on the street so you often had to walk on the other side of the pavement to get to your hotel but it was okay.

Nice hotel, unfavorable location

The hotel was quite lovely but it was located on a shifty street. While it served its purpose for our stay we will likely not stay there again.

Quietest hotel in NYC

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Though the hotel faces on 35th, if you get a room in the back of the hotel, you'll have the quietest, darkest, most delightedly decorated room in the City. Oh: and also one of the larger rooms in NYC. Located a short walk from Theatre Row and a far enough-away-but-still-doable walk from the craziness of Times Square. A little more expensive than I usually try for, but worth it.
