Great hotel in Hell's Kitchen (theater district).Posted Sep 14, 2014
Very pleased with hotel but disappointed with front desk. When we checked in our room wasnt ready - no problem we'd explore and they'd text me when it was ready. They never texted so we checked at 4pm. Room was ready but they hadn't let us know. When we called down for a newspaper next morning, just said they didn't have any. No suggestions, nothing. This isn't an inexpensive hotel, over $1200 for three nights. Expect better service

Handy to the the Theatre District and Time SquarePosted Sep 13, 2014
Cons: Wifi reception on the upper floors
Aside from some problems with the wifi, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary drinks at 5.00pm were especially appreciated!

Close to everything near Time SquarePosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms were up to date and lean. We had a large dorm size refrigerator for drinks & snacks.
Cons: Quieter air conditioners. Tile floor was slippery in so is
Location: Shopping at Time Square. Broadway theatre. Walking distance to Central Park. Walking distance to Hell's Kitchen and great food.
Great experience for sightseeing Manhattan. Close to Time Square and Central Park. Close to great restaurants and theatre's. We got to see more of New York because we were so close to everything.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff.Posted Sep 13, 2014
We stayed at the belvedere for five nights. Hotel is in a perfect location for the theatre district and it's in a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle. Room was a generous size with a good bathroom and kitchenette. The staff tried to fleece us for money at every opportunity by trying to charge us for services that they said would be free (WiFi and local phone calls). They withdrew the charges each time we questioned them so don't let that put you off staying there, I will be going back, but it is something to watch out for. It's a great hotel and we had a lovely stay

Convenient for everything New York but quietPosted Sep 13, 2014
Close to Times Square but quiet so easy to escape the hustle and bustle and refresh. Great character and ambience evocative of the 1920s and 30s.

Fair hotel in a great location.Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Location Staff Bedding
Cons: Air conditioning and ventilation Room decor Breakfast buffet
Location: In Hell's Kitchen. Close to Times Square, theatres, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, 5th Avenue shopping.
We stayed at The Belvedere from September 4-8, 2014. Check in was a breeze and staff was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean. The mattresses and bedding were quite comfortable. A safe and refrigerator were part of the amenities. The decor and furnishings were dated. Ventilation was poor, the air conditioner was loud, and on top of that, the A/C unit from the room above dripped onto our unit constantly. But beyond that, the location was primo, within walking distance to Times Square, 5th Avenue and in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. We attended three Broadway shows and walked to all theatres. The breakfast buffet was pricey.

Perfect locationPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Besides the excellent location the interior of the hotel is easy on the eyes. The staff couldn't be more helpful despite of the barrage of questions.
Cons: We had a small kitchenette but there were not plates, bowls, knives, forks or spoons. Although the staff supplied some quickly when asked.
Location: Two blocks from Times Square is the perfect location. There are two lovely restaurants on your door step and a shop for your meeds on the corner.
The Belvedere is the perfect location. Two blocks from Times Square but free from the noise and crush!
