Nice hotel close to Time Square and Broadway.Posted Dec 4, 2013
The Belvedere was an excellent hotel. It was clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful during our stay. The location is excellent and within walking distance of Time Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center and other popular attractions.

First trip to NYC!!Posted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.
Cons: Room was paid in full and they had my credit card information but they still put a $300 hold on my credit card which hurt while on vacation.
Location: Just a couple of blocks from Times Square so easy to mark where the starting point is and what to aim for when trying to find way back to hotel.
For years, myself and a group of friends talked about going to NYC someday and we decided this would be the year so we planned a trip with all the sightseeing we could afford and had time for. We didn't know where to stay but wanted somewhere safe and close to where we wanted to be. The Belvedere fit the bill! We were only a couple blocks from Time Square and felt in a safe environment. The staff was friendly and the concierge, very helpful. The rooms were plenty big and clean. We would recommend NYC and staying at the Belvedere to anyone we talk to.

Close to theatre districtPosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Very clean, accessible, staff easy to deal with. Two grocery stores close by.
Cons: Elevator a little slow, but there were a lot of people there that weekend.
We needed 2 double beds close to Times square and this was a great hotel. We had our kids with us, and the kitchenette was very handy. Easy walking distance to subways and theatres, very clean and nice. Used the Business Center to print boarding passes and passes to 9/11 memorial. Open 24 hours and easy to use. Didn't spend much time there, but enjoyed the time we did.

With a few changes this would be a strong choicePosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Location Size of rooms Reasonable cost
Cons: Drop wifi charge, $12/day! Ridiculous when you spend $2,000+ /week Room too warm, only thing staff said could do was use airconditioner - in Dec!
We've stayed here twice for a week at a time over Thanksgiving. It is a very convenient location to mid town transportation and theaters.

Great location. 5 min to Time Sq and many Subway stations. We stayed on 17th floor in executive room and it was really nice. There is a fire station nearby so might get bit noisy sometimes but hey you are in the heart of New York! Take ear plugs if u r light sleeper. Overall plus: location, value for money, great breakfast, cleanliness. Minus: sirens noise from fire station, lobby stuff asking for tips, no hotel café/restaurant (their one only serves breakfast). I would definitely stay there again!

enjoyable stayPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: It was on a quiet side street just off a main avenue.
Cons: Hallways could be livened up.
Location: Hotel is within an easy walking distance of all Broadway shows and a ten minute walk to Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall.
We arrived well before check-in time but since our room was ready we were allowed to check in immediately. The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and of reasonable size by NYC standards as was the bathroom. The microwave and refrigerator were an added bonus.

Good locationPosted Dec 2, 2013
I was expecting much better hitel. The hotel rate is for 4 stars!! No way!! The hotel in general is not clean appropriated. The elevators , the hallways you can see very visible the dust! The room is not bad. Good beds. Clean sheets. The bathrooms are the size of cruise boat bathroom . The room service staff are very friendly and polite. Very good location. We were able to walk everyday with no need of a rental car.

Perfect Hotel for NYC Weekend!Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Everything -- the rooms, the location, the staff
Location: Go check out Ruby Foo's in Times Square if you like Dim Sum and Sushi!
This was our first time staying at the Belvedere Hotel and I would gladly stay there again. From the second we got there, everything was perfect. We were only a few blocks from Times Square and Hells Kitchen. The room was beautiful and bed was super comfortable! The only thing I will say, is be careful of the slippery marble floors in the rooms.

Could improvePosted Dec 2, 2013
Room looked cozy and nice. But heat is central was so little too hot for comfortable sleep. Worse experience is the Spanish speaking house keepers who talks in loud tones and their carts make noise early AM. I think guest would want a quite morning. Beside it could be a great hotel. Oh ! They charge for wifi which I thought is ridiculous.
