Great Location. Good Room.

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Location. Cleanliness. Comfortable.
Cons: Could work on sound-proofing. Especially internally to the hallway. I wouldn't want a room right by the elevators.
Location: Close to theaters and Times Square. Walking distance to Rockefeller Center and Central Park.
Excellent location if you want to be close to the theatre district. Also walking distance to Central Park and high end shopping if that's your thing. Easy access to subway too. Plenty of restaurant choices around. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Elevators could be a challenge depending on time of day. We didn't spend much time there though since too much to do and see.

Bad Concierge, good location good price

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Replace the concierge.
Location: Close to broadway and time square.
Really I had a bad experience with one concierge. The other one was excellent and the staff was generally good. The concierge that I dealt with sent me in a $20 cab ride to a restaurant that wasn't open after assuring me we didn't need reservations and to be close enough to see the July 4th fireworks that were very far from there. Obviously, he didn't care enough to check either where the July 4th fireworks were or if the restaurant was open. When I complained the next day, he just shrugged his shoulders. I tried to email the hotel to complain and they didn't even bother e-mailing me back.

Hotel was ok! need better working air-conditioners

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Liked it very much great location.
Cons: elevator service slow
Location: great close to everything cannot complain!
Air conditioners need to be updated! rooms were not cool enough and bigger bathroom would be nice but they were ok! beds not the best! but ok for the amount of time spent in the room. The front desk was very pleasent! nice people and very helpfull. The consigars was terrible! He did not help me with printing my boarding pass. The computer went down in the middle of getting my boarding pass and he did not come over to help he suggested that I pick -up the phone to get help. Not freindly at all!

Great NYC Hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great staff, and an even better location. This room was bigger than most of the other NYC rooms I've stayed in before.
Cons: The only downsides were the hotel charges for Wi-Fi ($10 a day-for that much we just used our cellphones) and the room's bathroom was pretty dated.
Location: Located near Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, and several subway stops.
This is a great hotel located near Times Square, Broadway, and several subway stops. The lobby is tastefully decorated and the rooms are spacious. The beds in our room were extremely comfortable and the rooms were pretty much sound proof making for an excellent night's sleep.

Nice hotel in a great location

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Location: The hotel is located within walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Top of the Rock and much more!
We were worried about driving in NYC. The hotel's location made it easy to drive right in, park and enjoy our stay.

Terrible

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Just the picture on website, not the actual Hotel
Cons: The owners/management need to do major renovations and come up to some standards for the price customers pay. Staff should be more polite.
Location: Location is Ok, hidden in an alley. but walking distance to Time square.
just one word.. Terrible for the price you pay. Staff is very rude. Rooms are small, old and out dated. No Fridge, microwave or even glassware to drink water. They have 2 plastic cups. Motel 6 has better service. Please don't go here. They show the beautiful picture of the hotel on website, but that is only the ground floor. Rest of the building floors are red bricks, view from all the room is to trash cans and other buildings with graffiti.

Pros: Very safe and clean.
Cons: Elevator was pretty small but not really a problem.

First time in New York and the Belvedere was wonderful. Very nice staff and it felt very safe. Right within walking distance of Central Park, theatre district, Times Square, a food emporium, restaurants, etc.
