Close to the hub but not noisy!

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Third time we have stayed here. Staff always courteous. Love that we have microwave and fridge in room so can do breakfast or reheat leftovers. Easy walk to Times Square and the 50th Street station on 8th Avenue. Close to a grocery story, pharmacy and restaurants. Recommend it.

Cons: The only thing lacking was a comfortable chair. But I realize the room wasn't large enough for that.
It was overall a great stay. Check-in and check-out was easy and quick. All the workers or staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The room was nice and had all the conveniences. There weŕe plenty places to go outside the hotel, including broadway plays. I would stay again if I go to NY.

Great location

Posted Mar 24, 2015
I've stayed here before. It's close enough to the theatre district to make it an easy walk but far enough removed to be quiet. Our room was quite small but it's all you need since you don't spend much time there.

Best staff in the city

Posted Mar 24, 2015
The room had a window unit as it's only way of adjusting temp which was always hot even though it was 30 degrees outside. The unit didn't work well at all. Fan settings were broken, loud, mildly cool air. The hotel staff was the most efficient, friendly, capable we have ever encountered!!

Good Location but totally not good

Posted Mar 24, 2015
This hotel is clean and good location to see NY. But the room we stayed was for wheel chair persons. We didn't feel good. Bath room didn't have tub and curtain, so toilet area became wet. We hesitated it. Room amenity and cleanness were good.

Birthday Treat in New York!!

Posted Mar 23, 2015
This hotel was stunning and a perfect treat for my birthday. The reception staff were friendly and polite. The room was large and clean and a very Comfortable night's sleep. The only criticism I could give is that the curtains didn't close which was nice with a view of the city at night but not nice in a morning!!!

Nice, simple hotel near Times Square and theaters

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Location: Loved that we were 2 blocks from Times Square and the theater district.
We booked a last minute trip to NYC and wanted to be in a central location near Times Square. We found this hotel and thought we'd give it a shot because the price was good and we needed a room with 2 double beds. The hotel is simple and clean, and the staff was very kind. The rooms/bathroom are a little small, and the decor is a little outdated. But, the beds were comfortable and the location was what we were looking for. We've stayed at other hotels in Times Square and have had to wait for a long time for the elevators, but that was not a problem at this hotel. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel. Close to theatre district

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: As above
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: 9th avenue is a local residential street where people actually live so lots of restaurants etc. Gives you the feel of the real Manhatten
Great boutique hotel that is close to the theatre district but removed from the hustle of Times Square. Half a block to 9th avenue on 48th. Which is great as 9th has many nice and affordable restaurants. Hotel is renovated and the room was great. As with other boutique hotels you do not have the extras of room service etc. But who uses room service? Hotel staff were friendly and professional. And above all the hotel is quiet if you want a good nights sleep.
