perfect location

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: walking distance to Broadway and Time Square, GreyLine bus stop just around the corner, we feel safe walked at 2am from Time Square back to the hotel
Cons: nothing much
Location: 10 Minutes walk to Broadway, 2 minutes walk to greyline bus stop - outlet shopping, 10 minutes walk to time square (shops close at 2am there)
if i go to New York again, i will stay in this hotel again. what i am looking for is location and The Belvedere Hotel fits into it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is clear enough and got whatever we need for our stay. I didn't notice any view and anything like that, we just went back to sleep and then up and go again.

Disappointed!

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Location
Location: Great location. Close to many nice restaurants and theaters.
So disappointed in this hotel. The hotel is shabby—cracked tile in bathroom; old fixtures and furniture; worn out beds. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are even smaller. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the television playing in the next room and the guest walking in the room above. This hotel is definitely not worth the price.

Found this hotel on Expedia--no more expensive than any NYC hotel in the area, and less than many. Not right on the main streets, so quieter. We walked to Central park, several restaurants and two Broadway shows. Staff was great. Brought more towels very quickly on request, fixed stopped up tub drain within minutes of report, all very polite and friendly. Beds were quite comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great central location, nice hotel

2 minutes walk to times square, theatres, general store 24/7 20m away, a few great bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The only negative is they charge 10 dollars a day for WiFi, but the bar/ restaurant next door and most places have it for free. I would defiantly recommend the hotel for a stay in New York.

Location: Location was great for all of the Broadway theatres, shopping and sites.
Excellent hotel and a perfect location for Broadway and time square, both a 5 - 10 minute walk. Hotel staff very accommodating. Would stay there again
