“A great hotel in a great location”
The hotel was all around a great place and a good deal at the Expedia price. The only thing that could use improvement was the help at the front desk but everyone was very friendly.
“Sweet Gem in MidTown”
I found the best hotel in NYC. If you want a quiet oasis -- three blocks away from Times Square and Broadway -- this is the place. Fifth Avenue is another 4 blocks away, so great central location. Staff was wonderful and the room was just right. Would highly recommend for business travel or for a couple get-away. Not good for kids, but that is just fine by me!
“Great place to stay in NYC - will return to this hotel”
I have stayed at a number of hotels in NYC and this was one that I will return to. The rooms are nice and good size for NYC. We were there during the days of 100+ degrees and it was nice to be able to go back to a comfortable room. I loved the linens and the bath products. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. One day I stopped at the front desk on my way to my room and asked for ice to be sent up and the waiter walked up to the door as I took out my key! The turn down service with the chocolate on the pillow was something to look forward to after a busy day. The free internet access and access to a pc and printer was a nice perk.
“when i return to nyc,i will stay there again”
great place to stay for comfort and peace in nyc
“I'll definitely return”
Excellent location. Nice staff. Rooms sort of small but pretty comfortable. Mattress and pillows of outstanding quality. Ask for a room with a view,
“Great Deal!”
The hotel was very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities such as the library (including the computer) were helpful for looking up information about tourist activities. We got an AMAZING discount through Expedia. We normally would have paid a lot more. The only thing that wasn't good is that the restaurant didn't serve breakfast. It did offer morning room service, but that required a phone call way in advance. Because of that, we were not able to take advantage of that service.
“Terrific weekend!”
I have so many wonderful things to say about this hotel! The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating upon our arrival. We loved the room as it was very beautifully appointed and the beds had comfortable mattresses and lovely linens. The bathroom was very clean and large. I forgot my train tickets on the desk and the hotel sent them to me with a few days. We loved the restaurant, where we ate breakfast. And the location was terrific... near so much!
“Hotel staff was fabulous.”
The location was great. The staff was most helpful. The room was small but very comfortable.
“Enjoyable Stay”
The Lobby and rooms are small but the staff couldn't have worked any harder to be helpful and courteous. Every was in my opinion tasteful, well maintained and kept spotless. Great value for a stay in Mid Manhattan! We will return!
“Great find!”
We have stayed at several hotels in New York and this is now our new favorite - great location; helpful, friendly staff; quaint, clean rooms and reasonable rates. We would definitely recommend to our friends!
