Good locationPosted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: Lobby is small and informal, but it grew on me as staff are not behind counters so are very approachable.
Location: Central location for shopping and sight seeing. I walked everywhere, no need for taxi's.
Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the location, easy access for heading out in any direction to explore city. Staff was helpful, and room was comfortable.

No frills but great location.Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Clean, efficient and reasonable priced accomodation is what this hotel is all about.
Cons: Luggage storage in or adjacent to the lobby proved to be lacking.
Location: Times Square, Grand Central, 5th Ave. shopping, and even Central Park are within an easy walk.
The hotel is owned by Club Quarters whose own facility is 3 doors away. Jewel residents can have breakfast at Club Quarters, and it is very good and reasonably priced as well. The hotel is a no frills affair offering clean efficient rooms. The staff was extremely friendly. Location is terrific with all of central Manhattan's attractions in walking distance.

Great deal right in MidtownPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Location and value
Location: On 51st street facing Rockafeller Center. 5th avenue shopping, Top of the Rock, Radio City Music Hall, NBC tours.
We bought tickets for a play and wanted to spend the night in NYC to enjoy ourselves, but we did not want to spend a fortune or stay in a dump. We found this hotel on-line and due to the low price we did not know what to expect. The hotel is located on 51st facing the International Building of Rockafeller Center. It is a small boutique hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but they are set up great. There is a closet, a desk with two chairs and a chair with a built in tray to hold a book or a drink. There was a microwave and a coffemaker. The room had lots of outlets, especially near the desk and the bed. Near the desk there was even a USB port you could use. There were also cables in a storage area on the desk in case you wanted to view anything on the TV. The bathroom was set up nice and compact with a sliding door so it did not open into the room. There is a chilled bottled water station on each floor which was very nice. When you stay here you are also given access to the Terrace Room at the Club Quarters a few doors down where you can get a drink or have a meal. The hotel is located in a great area. It is a short walk to the theater district and there is a couple of subway stations nearby. There is not much going on in the evening, especially on the weekend. We can not wait to have another overnight.

Fantastic customer service!Posted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Location and staff! Nice room; small but ample storage.
Cons: Signage and/or written communication about the location of ammendities.
Location: Perfect location in the middle of the city providing entertainment and access to my meetings!
This hotel is perfectly located, very clean, the staff is nothing short of AMAZING! It was a bit confusing based on the lack of signage/written communication identifying the location of the gym, business center and that the lower level and through the curtains was a wonderful restaurant and bar. Something to be missed if you simply saw hte signs that it is existed but did not ask about the directions or give it a whirl and venture out of the elevator when you reach the basement. (I recommend a sign at the opening of the elevator on the bottom floor indicating to enter the rest. through the curtains.) Lovely room with everything I needed and more. An efficient sense of luxery and again, staff was great!

Location, Location, LocationPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Space was limited but since they have done a great job laying everything out you don't feel cramped.
Location: Time Square, all sightseeing, NBC Studios and Rockefeller Building
What a great hotel, enjoyed our stay, the rooms are compact but very nicely set up. We walked to Time Square and Grand Central Station within 5-10 minutes. The NBC studios are right out the door! Staff was very helpful and informative.

Not good for Tmobile usersPosted Feb 17, 2014
Cons: Could fix their Tmobile service issues
Could not make calls through my regular phone service for Tmobile and they would charge you if you call from the hotel room to external calls. Would recommend that you find an alternative solution (calling through wifi, since their wifi is free). Otherwise, for an NYC hotel, it's decently big in size and comfortable.

Nice room, good location...would book again!Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Location, free wifi, very courteous staff, price was reasonable.
Cons: Add a bathroom fan, better water pressure.
Location: Just a few blocks from Times Square and Broadway...what more do you need!!
Very nice (but small) room. Had one minor issue, and the staff fixed it immediately. Very clean and comfortable.

A chic little hotel in a perfect location.Posted Feb 10, 2014
Cons: The bed was not the most comfortable, and the room was small - however we liked that!
Location: It is in the heart of NYC and therefore everything is nearby. Shopping, theater, trains, Radio City was across the street.
We spent one night in this hotel and really loved it, especially the location. We were greeted warmly and allowed to check in early because our room was ready. It was very clean and sleek, and everything worked well. I can't wait to go back.
