“This place was awesome!”
I took my girlfriend to NYC to celebrate one year of dating and this place was unreal. We were upgraded to luxury suite, which was super nice. Staff was really friendly and heplful and in general, made the trip a very pleasant experience.
“Great hotel in great location”
We arrived late and were given a room on a lower floor facing the bright fluorescent lights of the garage across the street. The management kindly upgraded us to a deluxe suite on a higher floor, facing north. The rooms were well- appointed and the layout was perfect for us, as we were traveling with our teenage daughter. The location in midtown is perfect. The subway stop is one block away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Wonderful!”
Valerie, one of the managers made our stay incredible! The rooftop Bar was a blast! Staff was friendly and informative. Great location. Worth the flight out from CA!
“Good spot, reasonable price for the comfort”
Had been there more than 15 years ago. Still a very good option for tourist and executives in midtown. I definitely recommend it.
“Suites are amazing.....”
Excellent hotel, suites are extremely comfortable, nice balcony to go out on, and service superb. Had a fabulous time. Highly recommend it.
“Fabulous!”
The hotel was one of the highlights of our trip! Lovely, quiet boutique hotel in a fabulous area convenient to shopping and Broadway. The staff was courteous, helpful and efficient. Our recently renovated room was large with a very comfortable king-sized bed. The bathroom was also large, clean, and stocked with everything one would need. Beautiful ornate furniture and a large flat-screen TV sealed the deal. I didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend this hotel as our favorite yet in New York (and don't miss the gorgeous rooftop bar!)
“Mediocre”
First the good, Ralph the doorman was so nice. He was actually the ONLY employee to smile at us and talk to us. The not so good was that everyone else especially at the desk at no personality. Even checking in we were not "greeted" at all in fact thoroughout the entire check in (which was fast) the only thing said to me was "I need your i.d. and your room is not ready come back at 3:00." There was no salutation at all, no cordial conversation not even eye contact. The room was a good size and despite the little things like the wall paper not matching the curtains it was in pretty good condition. The balcony would have been great if it would have led to a better view other than a back alley and brick wall. I would stay again but only if other places of equal value were book based on the treatment we received not the room itself.
“Excellent Service”
We heard that the Kimberly Hotel was in a good location and had a fantastic rooftop bar with a spectacular view. They were right. Be prepared to spend $16 for a martini. Great ambience though. The room was cozy. The bathroom was very dated with little room to put any toiletries. The closet was extremely small with little room to hang anything. But it all worked out fine. There is a wonderful affordable breakfast place right next door. All in all, I would stay there again. The service was wonderful. All the hotel staff were cheerful and helpful.
“Great Staff”
The staff was outstanding responding to all needs and questions. The room was comfortable but the a/c could have worked a little better. I would go back - nice to be in Midtown with easy access to everything.
“Best Deal In NYC”
The next time I visit NYC, I staying here again! Great room (although I was upgraded), great service, great location, even a great restaurant on top of the hotel. Try, but you won't find a better deal.
