I didn’t appreciate the “destination” fee of $35 a day that I was not told about. I was just told about the $35 daily hotel credit. Had I known that I would have been charged it regardless I would have used the service more often than I did. This fee should be on Expedia’s site so the customer knows before booking. Otherwise a great hotel for the price we paid.

Tried to check in after the check in time of 4 pm and and they didn’t have our room ready for us us until after 6pm. They said they were still cleaning it. Offered nothing to us for the inconvenience and just acted as if it was no big deal that we needed to go sit in the lobby and wait. Very disappointed , will never stay here again.

This hotel is lovely. However the bathrooms are very small and the toilets are very low and difficult to use. Its also very noisy. Understanding its the big city it a still too noisy.
Also the hotel bar is only open from 5 to 11. Who does that?

We think this property is amazing! We would look forward to going back. The only thing I would make a recommendation to is in room 1907. The curtain does not go down on one of the windows and so light comes in all night long.

The $35 dollar destination fee that is extra surprise feels like its been offset by the cost of breakfast but breakfast will cost an additional $35/person and its prebilled so your destination fee is multiplied many times over,

When i arrived at the hotel it was raining, I asked for one umbrella because i have small children to bring them down from the car and the lady at the front desk told me they didn't have any. No one offer to help me bring the luggage up to my room. horrible service if you are with kids.

This hotel is a cash cow operating business. Two days before my arrival I got a message saying I would be charged $35 tourist fee which would be offset by a$35 credit for drinks at the bar or breakfast which is $36.95. So you end up spending more money for tip. If I had know. If this scam before I would have booked elsewhere

The hotel met expectations, room size was nice, thin walls, strange shower combined from dated tub. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good.

I stayed at the Lexington prior to the most recent renovations. Personal opinion... they damaged the character of a great building. This is still a fantastic hotel, I was just disappointed with the 'updates'.

It’s in a great location, about a 5 minute walk to grand central station, less than 20 minute walk to Times Square, about 20 minute walk to the Empire State Building and lots of food options very close by. There’s even a Starbucks basically in the lobby which I went to for coffee since there’s no coffee maker nor fridge in the room and I discovered on the day I checked out they have complimentary coffee tucked away at the checkin/out desk so I actually didn’t need to pay for Starbucks. Only real complaint was how expensive it was to park. When they say they have parking available at the hotel just go ahead and find your own parking.

Trusted place to stay. Nice lobby, restaurant on site, complementary water, Starbucks in building, room comfortable (some wear with wall paper and walls, but nice room).

Must ask for coffee maker in room. It’s an old property but pretty well maintained in excellent midtown location near offices. Don’t recommend the bar food. Brought my hair dryer to ensure enough power. Has complimentary bottled water .
