Nice hotel on the Upper West SidePosted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: The hotel is in a great location just west of Central Park within easy walking access to sites on the Upper West Side and to the subway.
Rooms were clean, well appointed and of a traditional style. The rooms were on the small side but probably typical of New York. Staff was polite and helpful. The Nice Matin, which adjoins the Lucerne, provided excellent meals.

Great hotel. Fantastic location.Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: Everything, especially the location.
Cons: No fridge or microwave in the room. That would be nice to have.
Location: Central Park is a few blocks away. Easy walk to Lincoln Center, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Museum of Natural History.
We picked the Lucerne because we love the Upper West Side and were looking for something nice. The Lucerne did not disappoint. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Staff was helpful and very responsive. Really couldn't ask for more.

Great hotel!Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: We loved everything about the hotel from the location to the helpful and friendly staff.
We were in New York to see an Off-Broadway play and wanted to stay close to the venue. The Lucerne was a great choice! There was subway stops close by to get us anywhere we wanted to go as well as being within walking distance of Central Park and The Museum of Natural History. The concierge was very helpful getting us oriented to the Upper West Side. The room was very comfortable with a separate sitting area, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker and always freshly made up whe we returned from our outings of the day. Taxi rides were always just a gesture away thanks to the excellent front door men who were there when you need them.
