Centrally located but needs major remodeling

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: The hotel was blocks away from the attractions on Broadway and Times Square.
Cons: Cleanliness of the establishment. Staff customer service skills and hotel remodeling.
Location: Tme Square, Broadway.... plenty to do!
I stayed one night... my experience was alright. Room was fine but could be better. The hotel lobby and other facilities weren't the cleanest I've seen. Maybe its a NYC thing... The staff at the reception desk and housekeeping were kind and courteous but all other members would give you a cold hard look, were very loud and unwelcoming. Not what you would expect from hospitality services.

Visiting NYC

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Came to town with family to listen to school orchestra play in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Hotel location is VERY convenient. Walking distance to main attractions. Subway nearby. Rooms are old. Faucets not working properly. Bath tub is old with chipped enamel. AC not working (room 1221), had to open the window. Front desk very busy. $20 daily facility charge (for what?) - but we knew about it. Because of location it was OK. Last time we stayed at Warwick and at Hilton for the same price (sale) and those are much nicer.

Close to Time Square

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Check in facilities
Hotel was clean and comfortable. We queued for 40 minutes to check in that annoyed me and the Staff were always busy it was hard to get somebody to discuss checking out. Excellent location though.

Great location, rooms very old and overused.

The location, staff and lobby are amazing. However the rooms are very old and show major signs of over use and look very outdated. Needs renovation!!

一人旅で利用しました。設備はそんなに新しくないですが、寝るだけだったので不便なく過ごせました。 何と言ってもタイムズスクエアに近く、どこへ行くにも便利だったので満足です。

Fantastic location for first timers in Manhattan

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Facilities could be upgraded such as rooms, beds and bathroom
Location: Location was great, Times Square just up the road as is Central Park. Subway access is just a few steps away.
The hotel was located very central to Manhattan with times square just a few meters down the road. You can also easily walk to Central Park with ease. The hotel lobby is very modern and sophisticated and the staff are always friendly and approachable. The maids do a great job of keeping your room tidy at your convenience. Only negatives : Air con was broken Mattress felt old and over used Facilities could use an upgrade Windows don't block out a lot of exterior noise Lack of information about other services such as Room service, wifi information etc.

Old hotel conveniently located in Times Sq. Hotel but needs many renovations: painting, carpet bathrooms, electric ( light switch) safe in the room was nonoperational. Rooms were not made up in a timely fashion. We left at 9 AM, came back at four still room was not made up. Must've been a shortage of washcloths we never got any fresh ones.
