Great location & staff but hotel is run down.

The hotel has great location accessible to restaurants, shows and transportation. The Staff from the old Sheraton Manhattan are awesome but the hotel is in state of desrepair. The hallway carpet is old & stained, the elevators are slow and are not all running at the same time and the room bathroom fixtures are poorly maintained.

Dirty and dated!

Posted Aug 23, 2014
So we walked in to the hotel and the reception looked nice but as soon as you get out of the lifts on any floor the illusion has gone the rooms and corridors were very dated! And when we went into our room it had not been cleaned properly (if at all). there were left over grapes at the side of the bed, dirt around the sink and bath wasn't nice to walk into even for us, and we had stayed in a dodgy motel 6 the previous day so I wouldn't say we were very picky! one good thing, the location is a plus but for the price we payed we expected a modern clean room (like the pictures showed) and we were very disappointed!

Ok hotel in great location.

The hotel is in a great location for walking to Times Square. Hotel is a bit run down. It is older and has not been updated. Sheets were clean and crisp but the bed skirts were dirty. Walls need touch-up paint. Staff was great. I only used this hotel for location and price.

Close to Times Square

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Great location, friendly staff. 2 blocks from Times Square and a few from the Roc center
Location: couple blocks down from Times Square. About 10 mins walk from Central Park. Lots of restaurants nearby, cheap, expensive and everything in between.
Staff was very nice. However, the hotel itself is kind of old and dirty.

OMG. This place was in pretty sad condition....

Posted Aug 21, 2014
despite all the "please pardon our appearance as we undergo renovations" signs posted by the elevator, the rooms are old and dirtier than expected of a major Times Square hotel. The place NEEDS updates and renovations. The plastic cups were bad enough, without the worn and torn towels, and moldy bathroom walls. My rag towels are in better condition. And what hotels still charge for internet? While location is of course great, the posted "renovations" (and cleaning) have not made it to the top floors yet, I guess.

great location - hotel condition was tired

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: Paint, new carpets, upgraded facilites, dark interior
Location: time square, central park, theater, restaurants, shopping
Rooms were OK but need a refresh as does the complete interior Centrally located with easy access to Central Park, Time Square, Subway, Theatre district, Great Restaurants

That is ok to stay with my friends. Location is very closed to Times Square, so it is very convenient. However, I completely did not understand why collectors did not clean up bathroom. They did not put away used bath towels and clean the floor of the bathroom.

Not coming back to this specific hotel.

Pros: Nothing. The bathroom had a tile that was about to fall off. The tub drain didn't have enough flow to empty the water.
Cons: Service and public relations for a start. Management seems condescending and not willing to admit their faults.
Location: OK.
It was a very disappointing and aggravating experience. We were a group of 9 people and 2 of us got there first. We showed them our confirmation and they told us it was "cancelled". The receptionists seemed impatient and totally not willing to help investigate what mistake may have happened. After several minutes of back and forth, they finally understood the paperwork and gave us a couple rooms. When the remainder of the group arrived, there was more confusion like they've reset to the original mode and we had to explain the entire thing all over again. They seem very impatient with people from overseas and quick to dismiss you, even when you have proof of payment. I wish they would have been more willing to "fix" the reservation woes for us much quicker without having to cause us all the unnecessary stress. A total nightmare!

Beddings and towels smells stinky. We tried calling their customer service using their phone in their room but we cannot contact them. We want to request to change their beddings. I just thought the towels and beddings were not totally dried up in the dryer that is why they smell stinky. The room windows were so dusty. After how many times of calling their office we have to go downstairs just to talk to the hotel staff and get somebody to change our either change our bed and beddings but what they did is to just put a comforter to just cover the smell. This is so ridiculous!!!
