Good hotel for being in central NYC

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Perfect location for getting to see the sights of NYC. Times Square just below and Central Park just above with Broadway passing close by. Great position for a stay.

Convenient location and good service

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Excellent location and baggage service.
Cons: I wish bathroom was updated.
Location: Can't ask for more if you want to be in Times Square and Broadway. Everything is near including theaters, restaurants, stores, and subway stations.
Excellent location if you want to explore Times Square/Broadway. Check in was 4:00, but they had a service (with fee) to hang on to our baggage. Then even did it after we checked out and I was very happy that we were free from heavy bags. We had a very loud next door; we finally called the front desk at midnight and security came right up to resolve the problem.

The building needs some renovation

Posted Aug 1, 2015
The building needs some renovation but the staff was very nice and helpful especially Mohammad. The location is also great, walking distance from most of the attractions. Nothing fancy about the place but good value for your money.

Very pretty outside, dirty dirty inside

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Beds were comfy
Cons: DIRTY! Management was rude
Location: Good location, very happy with that
when we went to check in, after making our reservation months in advance, we were told they over booked the hotel. We were checking in right at 4. After literally fighting about it, we finally got a room. However it was dirty. The bath had several hairs in it, it was gross. We told the front desk and someone came and "cleaned" the room. They never even turned on the water. When I showered I still saw hair. I would never bath again because it was gross. For that price, I was very disapointed and will never stay there or recommend it. Rooms were good size, beds were comfy, blankets are very thin. Good location. Those are all the good things I can say. Manager we dealt with was quite rude about us not willing to move hotels.

This hotel does not add up to the rate they are asking for, its very old and has not been updated in 20 years or so. The walls and carpets were just disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, and I fly in to NYC often and I have quite a few to compare with.

Some issues and resort fees

Posted Jul 29, 2015
The bathroom had pealing paint, as did the main room. This would not have bothered me but for the Resort Fee. They tack on an addition $20 plus rates to the daily rate. This is charged at the end of the stay. I won't stay here again because of this. Put the real price on Expedia, and then let the customer choose based on real information.
