“Fantastic Hotel Choice - So Pleased With Our Stay”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Paramount and would stay again. It is in the center of everything, making it a snap to get around. The staff were very pleasant and hospitable. Room keys were checked at the door each night to ensure only guests entered - helping us to feel safe - which we always did. We upgraded to a "renovated king" room which I fully recommend. It was still small compared to what we are used to, but very spacious for Manhattan.

Checking in was about 2 min simple and friendly, staff wants pleasant the rooms was clean, just a tad small but thats NYC. Overall experience it was a great place to stay and recommend for the price and location, all around service for the Hotel. Recommend is a plus.

Everything is excellent about this hotel especially its style, location and its staff. There is only one thing that lets it down and that is the lack of storgae space in the room and especially the very small wardrobes.

Great location for most tourist activities. Clean safe area to walk in. Lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel was very clean. Rooms were smaller but we didn't go to New York to stay in a hotel room.

“Exceeded expectations”

What a pleasant surprise.....the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, to the person. Our room was very comfortable and was extremely clean and well kept. Times Square, subway stations and sports bars (we watched college football Sat night after the Yankees game) were all within a block or two of the hotel. We will stay there next time we go into the city for sure.

“Great hotel, staff, and location”

The Paramount has been refurbished. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. My wife and I were in tourist mode so we just wanted clean and comfortable. The room was cozy not spacious, however perfect for us and very affordable compared to other NY hotels. The registration desk person was cheerful and helpful. The concierge was very helpful. The bell staff is super. You can leave bags in their care after checkout for a very nominal fee. There is a gourmet coffeee shop, restaurant and bar at the hotel. Beds were clean and fresh. Location is the best. One block to times square, discounted show tickets, 2 blocks to bus tours, fine restaurants, metro. This hotel is a very good value. For the money it would be difficult to find a better place. We felt safe and happy the entire time, and we really enjoyed the entire stay.

“Great Time in New York”

All travel arrangements went smoothly and Expedia did a good job. The KLM flights were all on time, staff plealsant and helpful and seats as comfortable as possible on a 7 hour flight! Not too bad for leg room either. The hotel was perfectly positioned. We were warned about the small rooms and believe me ours was very, very small. Had I not been warned I would have been quite shocked but having said this the room is completely functional. Our double bedded room was quite stylish, very clean wtih a place for everything. I think the size would bother some people but we were ok with it. For a 5 nights stay there was just about enough space for clothes. Hotel staff were very professional, friendly and willing to assist. Our shower tap didn't work properly and someone fixed it within half an hour or reporting it. I would stay at the Paramound again but would possibly book a room with 2 beds to get some extra room - this may prove expensive though.

“Fantastic hotel, well priced & the perfect distance to Times Square!”

This was my first trip to New York and as a nineteen year old girl with my only travelling companion being an eighteen year old we were quite nervous! However the week as a whole completely surpassed my already high expectations. The hotel was fantastic, the staff were efficient & helpful. Yes, the room itself was small but it was expertly cleaned and maintained by housekeeping and it had everything we needed within it. The hotel itself, despite being quite up market and trendy was very welcoming and friendly. The small cafe located next to the hotel entrance was varied & the food was very fresh and appealing. However we did not venture to the other hotel restaurants although they did look quite nice but expensive. One of the best things about this hotel was the fact it was quite literally a one minute walk to the centre of times sqaure, near the underground, bars, broadway shows, lots of shops & places to eat. I would highly recommend considering this hotel for your trip to New York.
