“Wonderful location and convenient hotel”

The Paramount is an excellent choice and it typically offers value for your money, Half a block yet not quite at Times Square if you are going to shows, the restaurant row or Midtown bars this is all within walking distance. Also you can walk to the 7th ave subway station. Those who complain about the size of the rooms.... this is New York and in that respect it is much like Europe. If you want a regular large size room like you would get anywhere else in the U.S. you need to pay many hundreds per night. The staff is great. They are doing some remodeling on the lobby but that does not get on your way... I highly recommended.

“Full Size Room”

We booked the cheapest room which had a full bed due to the fact it was almost NYE and the hotels were pretty expensive. However the hotel clerk apologized he couldn't upgrade us and gave us some 2 for 1 drink coupons for the hotel bar. The room was super clean and cozy and the TV was great. Staff was very nice and can't beat the location!

NYC rooms are typically pretty small, so I was relieved that this wasn't "too small" (although it was still small for non-Manhattan hotel rooms). The staff was very helpful and the architecture was pretty cool. The location was right off of Times Square, so a great place to base yourself while in town.
