Cool hotel with good staff.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Room is clean and lovely.
Cons: Have 24 hour concierge service.
Location: Close to Times Square. Nice walk to Central Park. Very touristy, however.
I've stayed here several times and it is consistent. Cool surroundings and room features. Really helpful staff and great location in Midtown.

Convenient location but very noisy

Posted Sep 13, 2014
The Paramount is located very close to Times Square, but it's very noisy. The AC wasn't working. The room key didn't work.

Excellent hotel for both business and tourist stay

Music was loud in lobby; hallways a bit dark, but very trendy decor. Rooms efficient (European style) and comfortable.

Well priced hotel in central Manhattan location

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Excellent location. Well priced.
Cons: Tea & coffee facilities in the room would be nice.
Location: Beside Times Sq. Patzeria Perfect Pizza adjacent to the hotel does AMAZING takeway pizza.
Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Rooms don't have any 'luxury' factor and my single room didn't even tea and coffee facilities. Location is right beside Times Sq so it can be noisy and the streets are busy - avoid the hotel if you don't like that. The one person 'twin' rooms are well priced for a single traveller. Overally it's a great hotel if you get it at a good price. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

Great location, not so good amenities....

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Location and lobby
Cons: Any bit of counter space around sink. Has none with the pedestal sink.
Location: Can't top the location. Not more than 150 feet from Times Square with access to Subways and the area.
Location is right off Times Square, but room amenities are severely are lacking. Lacks sink counter space, no coffee maker at this price, can't take a shower without water splashing on the floor, noisy A/C unit, musky smell, but lobby is beautiful and relaxing.

Paramount

We arrived at the hotel to check in at 2pm but were told to return at 4pm to check in. On our return at 4.30pm only to be told that our rooms were occupied and would not become available untill 6pm and had at this point been travelling for over 12 hours so very tired and had a wasted afternoon waiting around. At 7pm after much complaining we finally got to check into our rooms. This was overall a very stressful experience.
