Nice ambiance in the lobby but the rooms are very small, unconvinient, and bad interior design. The single room I booked via expdeia is very small, good thing the staffs are very helpful, they upgraded the room into 2 bed room although it is still not spacious.

The Paramount has combined some of it's famously tiny rooms at the end of the halls with the bigger corner rooms to create very likeable bedroom-living room suite combinations. This allows space to stretch yours legs and plan your next move in a hotel that used to be known only for its location and likeable staff.

Vogue!!

Pros: Location, Location, Location!!!
Cons: Room size!!! The room was very cramp!
Location: There is so much one can do it take forever to explain.
Shower was not hot enough as a matter of the fact the water pressure was barely enough to soak your entire body. No refrigeration, microwave, complimentary coffee or tea maker in room. Room very very small two people can not move around simultaneously. Other than those setbacks everything else was acceptable and pleasant.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of Times Square

Posted Oct 14, 2014
The location of the hotel is fabulous. A few steps & you're right in the middle of all that Times Square has to offer. The hotel is quite dark inside, a little forbidding at first. However, after all the noise & bustle & the lights outside I found it to be very relaxing. I found the colour scheme of the hallways outside the rooms to be too dark & dowdy for my own personal taste. However, this was the only draw back. The staff were very friendly & efficient & extremely helpful. The restaurant/bar area were very clean & relaxing to be in. I didn't eat at the hotel simply because there is so many restaurants & bars within easy walking distance. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone

Paramount Hotel

Pros: Different environment, close to everything, nice staff, the motif, the music, the liveliness of the clientele, the d├ęcor, and exceptional service.
Cons: If you changed anything at all, the hotel would lose its personality and intriguing ambiance. It is quite fine the way it is with very nice staff.
Location: Motown show, Times Square, tour busses, subway, Carnegie restaurant, Empire State Building, and lots of shopping.
This hotel is quite quirky in a most enjoyable fashion. The rooms are small, the water pressure is low, and the environment is quite different. However, it is in the middle of anywhere you want to go! Our room was secure, exceptionally quiet, the bed provided an outstanding rest, and the whole vibe of the place was immensely appealing. I would stay there again without hesitation and probably will quite soon. Being an older traveler, the hotel was definitely alive with music and activity, much different than your typical chain hotels. I rather liked it just as it is. A nice deviation from the normal hotel stay.

Nice hotel, convenient to everything.

The Paramount was clean, comfortable, stylish, and close to all Broadway and Times Square happenings. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms a little small but clean and functional, and the staff was fantastic!

Talk about under delivering

Posted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: The pizza place next door is the only good thing I can say. Next time I will skip the $350.00 fee and just get a few slices.
Cons: See above
My room only had 2 hand towels, one wash cloth and a bath mat upon my arrival, which is odd because I had requested extra towels. I was promised a high floor via an earlier email and was placed on the 5th floor and lastly their site indicates that the rooms are equipped with mp3 players and my room didn't have a clock let alone a player.

Pros and Cons to this place

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: see above
Cons: Time to get into the modern age and offer free wi fi somewhere in the hote
Great location; Staff are nice and helpful; unlike some NY hotels the room and bathroom were a nice size....but......NOT FREE WI FI anywhere in the hotel! That's a disgrace! And - t0 make matters worse - they charge $37 for 3 days PER DEVICE!!!! That's a big turn off for me and isn't acceptable in this day and age. Also, the construction inTimes Sq is 24/7 and very very noisy and add to that a room at the front of the hotel where there are 2 very noisu flagpoles (seriously!) it wasn't the best of stays............a pity as it has alot going for it

Convenient location for seeing shows.

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: Lighting and bathroom.
Location: Good for seeing shows and walking to Times Square. Not far from Central Park.
Staff was helpful but the hotel itself was a dissapointment. Lobby and elevators were very dark, and the bathroom was the biggest issue of all. It was tiny! I expected a small room in New York City, but I wasn't prepared for the small, outdated bathroom. It reminded me of one you might find on a ship or a third-world country.
