Great hotel - great location

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Not only is breakfast laid on (cereals, eggs, toast & spreads, croissants etc) there are also nibbles and wine at 4.00 pm. Hot & cold drinks all day.
Location: On 49th Street and off Broadway in the theatre district. Plenty of eateries nearby. Easy to use Subway to anywhere in Manhattan. Central Park close by
Situated on 49th Street in the Theatre District this hotel is close to Times Square and close to a good many of the most visited places of interest. The Subway is near and easy to use. Used it to get to South Manhattan for Ground Zero, Brooklyn, Statue of Liberty and a helicopter ride. Sensational !

Times Square

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The Pearl has a touch of class.
Cons: We found nothing lacking
Location: All of New York is easily accessable.
A clean quiet brilliantly located hotel. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast a real bonus and the wine fruit cheese etc in the afternoon perfect. Room spotless and clean towels every day. Toiletries topped up every day and even an umbrella in the room. Free use of Wi Fi, two computers and printer .

Overall excellence

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: The shower head-not enough water pressure.
Location: Times Square. Theatre. Walk to MoMa, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Empire State Bldg, Port Authority. Very convenient location
The Pearl was recommended by my sister who stayed there in 2011. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast provided was a great way to start the day. The room was clean and lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The wine and cheese at 4:00 each day was a nice way to take a break from the hectic pace, giving us the chance to regroup before getting ready for dinner and the theatre. It's close proximity to Times Square and various attractions was so convenient. Another plus - four excellent restaurants just steps from the hotel.

Short break

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: No fuss and bother, from arriving until departure. Did what it should do without a problem.
Cons: Nothing! keep it straight forward as it is.
Location: two theatres. The subway nearby was very important.
Ideal, no frills, no restaurant. Just a good comfortable place to stay, with a continental breakfast facility.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Just off of Times Square and right across from the Book of Mormon theatre and right next to Chicago theatre! The staff was awesome and they have happy hour from 4-5 and a continental breakfast! Amazing stay and hotel!

Hotel located 49th Street West Approx 5 min walk to Times Square. Staff were lovely. Complimentary breakfast enough to get your day started. Each afternoon 4-5pm complimentary wine & cheese for the guests which is great way to meet other people. We seen The Book Of Mormon at the theatre just outside our hotel. Rooms very clean. Would definitely recommend and will return

Beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff!

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Everything it is just simply perfect!!
Cons: Nothing! It is fabulous!
This was my first time in New York and I cannot praise the Pearl Hotel enough for making this the most memorable holiday ever! I enjoyed it so much I want to plan my second trip already! This is the perfect hotel and whenever I go back to NYC I will hands down be staying nowhere other than at the Pearl! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff cannot do enough for you and are so friendly and just absolutely lovely and wonderful - I truly miss them all! The breakfast served in the morning, constant refreshments offered throughout the day and the excellent wine and cheese hour in the afternoon just topped it all off beautifully! The hotel location is absolutely perfect and close to all of the main attractions I wanted to see during my stay. My words honestly cannot do enough justice to how much I loved the hotel, the staff, the people, the city and just everything in between! Anybody lucky enough to visit NYC absolutely MUST stay here - I promise you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!! Take me back!!!!!!

Very nicely situated hotel off of Times Square. The little free extras you get wasn't as good as o expected. Free wifi is a good connection. Very basic hotel which is adequate for your needs and a relaxing stay!
