Comfortable, lots of perks!!Posted Mar 10, 2014
Very comfortable and pleasant hotel! We loved the boutique feel and all the amenities. The free continental breakfast was substantial, and we never missed the complementary wine and snacks at 4pm. The bed was comfortable, staff was outstanding and location was great (close to all major subway lines).

Amazing hotel close to the main attractions in NYPosted Mar 3, 2014
This was the most amazing experience of my life, this was the first time I travelled without my parents and just a friend and the hotel was absolutely amazing. I have no negative comments about it. The staff was friendly and very accommodating and I was in shock when I stepped in the door of our hotel room. The bathroom was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable and big! So pleased to have stayed here and I will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect location, quiet street, very cleanPosted Feb 26, 2014
Cons: breakfast, more hot items, (like waffles and scrambled eggs)
Location: perfect, walking distance to lots of attractions.
I have been to New York 4 times now, and this is my favorite hotel by far. The rooms were large and tastefully decorated. View was okay, not great, but better than some hotels which looked onto a brick wall. View was basically of across the street and of the theatre. Fridge, microwave and sink were a nice touch. TV in bathroom as well as the main room. Keirig machine also was very nice. Lobby had chips, fruit and water every day. Breakfast was included which was worth it. Also wine hour was from 4 to 5 but we were never at the hotel at this hour. Hotel was literally across the street from Book of Mormon, down the street from Chicago, and just minutes from Time Square. But without the noise and busyness of Times Square. Loved it. Staff were super friendly.

Steps From Everything, Worth Every PennyPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: In addition to the above, it was very easy to get a cab.
Cons: Not a thing (I'm not sure I've ever said that in a review.)
Location: If you're seeing a show in New York, you will want to stay here. Times Square, Radio City, and Rockefeller Center are 3 blocks away.
We have found our go-to hotel in NYC! It's a short walk to everything (theaters, Times Square, Rockefeller Center,) and a brisk walk to Central Park and Lincoln Center. The thing is, once you pass through the doors into the bright and cozy lobby, you would never know all that was right outside. It's quiet and peaceful in the lobby and the 2nd floor lounge, in fact, the entire hotel is beautiful, clean and relaxing. Our room was big, with a lovely tiled bathroom and comfortable bed. I loved having a microwave for late night snacks. There are plenty of beautiful hotels in NYC, but the staff at The Pearl is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, especially Juliet at the front desk, the doorman Moraud, and the housekeeping staff. The big things were spot on: the upgrade to a deluxe king; the fast and easy luggage check when we arrived super early at 7:30 am; the free (!) breakfast (an expanded continental breakfast); the wine and cheese reception. However, the little things were equally impressive: Juliet remembering how to pronounce our unusual name; Moraud remembering our specific itinerary; in fact, every single person I encountered was professional and courteous. Our entire stay was enjoyable.

A real find in Midtown/Theater DistrictPosted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Professional staff. Nice extras of breakfast/wine. Excellent bathroom with nice toiletries. Everything I needed and nothing I didn't.
Cons: Seriously, if you moved it to a sunny beach added a health club, a quality gift shop and gave away free manicures. Nothing really. It was just right.
Location: Well, if you're into Broadway shows (which I'm not) it couldn't be better. But midtown offers so much more.
REALLY happy with The Pearl. The staff was excellent. Every single person. The breakfast attendant, the chambermaids, the doorman, the front desk staff. That alone would be enough but the room was spacious, quiet even on the street side. I was upgraded to a room with a fridge, microwave and a coffeemaker without asking. They honored early check-in (way early, like 10 am). The breakfast is much more than ok. The area well attended and very nicely organized. No blaring TV (thank you!). There is a nice wine and cheese hour which I didn't really take advantage of. I did use room service which brought me a comforting satisfying dinner. The doorman found me cabs every time. The price was great and the value outstanding.

The pearl make my stay enjoyable as well as it's comfy , relaxing and close to everything. The location is great close to time square, broadway as well as easy access to Bart station. Desk staff are really friendly and offer help all the time. The room are clean, nice and big. Noise were minimal and when I'm heading to NYC again in march I'll definitely book the pearl again.
