Good hotel in the heart of the city a shirt walk from Time Square. Fairly knowledgable staff however found a few cheeper deals elsewhere.

Top scorer. Amazing hotel.Posted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: Very central location within walking distance to Rockerfellar Centre, Times Square, all the theatres, vast selection of restaurants and shops.
Cons: Perfect as it is.
From the minute my daughter and I walked in to the minute we left the staff at the Pearl could not do enough for us. They looked after every minute detail and request. Azi at reception and Muraad the doorman were more than amazing. The rooms and the facilities in each room are better than any 5 star hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast is a perfect start to the day. Tea, coffee, lemon water, fruit, crisps available throught the night and day on floor 2. The complimentary cheese and wine hour between 4 and 5 pm gives opportunity to chill out and catch your breath before venturing out again. Talked to other people who were at other more expensive and renowned hotels and found out that they did not have even half the facilities and comforts at their expensive hotels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PEARL TO ANYONE WANTING TO VISIT NEW YORK.

Great location close to theatre districtPosted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: The Staff the bathrooms
Cons: Rooms need to be brighter and coffee supplied to room. Also each time someone on our floor entered the room area from outside our door would bang
Location: Close to theatres great restaurants and very central
Staff were excellent, and great location close to theatres. Bathrooms are great. Only negative is that rooms were dark and bed was dangerous. We had a coffee making machine but no coffee. If you are looking for a hotel at inexpensive rates close to theatre district and dont mind dark rooms this would be fine.

We love the Pearl. We will definitely stay there on future trips to NYC. The room was beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed "Happy Hour" every evening and continental breakfast every morning. The staff was courteous and so accommodating. In sum, this place is absolutely first rate.

Excellent service, elegant rooms in Times SquarePosted Jan 18, 2015
Great hotel central to Times Square with easy access to subway to all of Manhatten. Recommended restaurants and Broadway theatre all close. Easy walking distance to Rockfeller Centre and for Central Park to the north and Macy's, Empire State, etc. to the south. Service very accommodating, well-presented continental breakfast wach morning, wine and cheese each afternoon - all well-timed for theatre and for sightseeing. A great stay!

Loved the location! In the theatre districtPosted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, sizable rooms. Staff. Hospitality room on the 2nd floor.
Cons: Need a garbage can at the kitchenette in the suite. Had to walk into the bathroom to find a garbage can ----and if someone was using it--
Location: In the middle of the theatre district---Chicago next door; Book of Mormon across the street; Wicked two blocks up; near Times Square & subway
From the minute we arrived until we departed, we were treated kindly by the staff. They went out of their way to provide quality service. We used the concierge to book tickets and dinner reservations and to get directions. Her advice was invaluable. The continental breakfast was plentiful and we loved the availability of snacks and hot chocolate in the hospitality room on the freezing cold days. Everyone always had a friendly smile and was ready to assist.

Great hotel for exploring ManhattanPosted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff. The complementary extras such as the wine reception and prosecco on New Year's Eve.
Cons: The selection of power adaptors was poor and the only compatible with UK plugs was of low quality, and ultimately could not be used.
Location: Mid-town Manhattan. Times Square. Broadway theatres. Rockefeller Centre. Central Park. 5th Avenue. Macy's.
Situated just off Times Square and in the middle of the theatre district, this hotel is ideally situated in mid-town Manhattan. For trips further afield, there is a subway entrance within 4 minutes walk. Our experience was of this hotel was superb. Breakfast is complementary, a straight-forward continental buffet. There is also a wine and nibbles reception every evening, again complementary. The hotel is well-appointed, clean and up-market. The staff are excellent and clearly focused on customer satisfaction; we wanted for nothing. One particularly pleasant surprise was the size of the room which was quite spacious, certainly more so than we were expecting for a hotel in the middle of town. The attached grill is very good but pricey (it offers a discount for guests of the hotel). You can get equivalent food at much lower cost and with arguably better ambience by striking out two or three blocks away from Times Square. Highly recommended to others. I won't hesitate to return.
