Clean, quiet and helpful friendly staff

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Cons: Need more counter space or shelves in the bathroom.
Room was large, clean and quiet although we were just off Times Square. The room had an enclosed patio off the back which would be wonderful if it wasn't 30 degrees. It did provide a much better view than the back of another building. The front desk personal were very helpful with directions, subway cards, etc. We would certainly stay here again.

Excellent hotel

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Location, decor.
Cons: The wifi signal was pretty weak and there were no premium cable channels on the telly.
Location: You're right in the heart of midtown - a couple of blocks north of Times Square.
Really good hotel. Comfortable room, helpful staff. There was even a television in the bathroom - which was very swish.

Could not better this hotel. Perfect

Posted Nov 19, 2014
From the minute you arrive, you are greeted at the front door by a brilliant smile. The staff are excellent and simply cannot do enough for you. The rooms are fabulous and huge. You have 2 theatres in your doorstep with no noise at all and a great restaurant next door. In 2 minutes you are in Times Square. The cheese and wine hour is a great afternoon chill out, but like afternoon tea on the slopes. Plus the coffee is left on all day long. An unforgettable experience and we definately will not hesitate to book again. Brilliant.

great hotel with a great location

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: location
Location: I would recommend the Big Bus tour.
The hotel staff was extremely accomodating and, in addition, took the confusion out of what to do and how to get around the city.

a peaceful oasis in the heart of times square

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: position, peacefulness, room, shower !!! breakfast
Location: location was great, we booked to see jersey boys just round the corner, very near to underground and shopping on 5th avenue.
We stayed for 4 nights last week (9th Nov ) for our silver wedding anniversary, the hotel was fantastic, just a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of times square etc.... the room was spacious ,unbelievably quiet with the best shower i have ever had !!! just what you needed after a days sightseeing, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the continental breakfast was fantastic and set you up for the day. i would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and will certainly return if ever in new york again...

Great Hotel location for a short trip to NYC

Posted Nov 13, 2014
My wife and I took a short vacation to NYC for some much needed R&R. We took a red eye flight and arrived early morning...way before check-in (4pm) at the Hotel Pearl. The front desk person, Azi, was very considerate and helpful. He was able to accommodate us with a room and get us checked in early. (Thank you Azi!!!) The location of Pearl is in the theater district, in mid-town. For us, it was centrally located and within comfortable walking distance to all the things we intended to see during our vacation. (i.e. Central Park, Time square, Rockefeller center, etc). It was also just far enough were you didn't get a ton of foot traffic and pan handlers, like you will get being within the heart of Times square. In terms of safety, the Pearl Hotel is located in area that is well lit and clean, and we never felt concerned about going out or coming back late. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel during our next visit to NYC...even with our four kids. :)
