Good LocationPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Location and overall facilities.
Cons: Nothing at the moment.
Location: Provides very good access to restaurants and shopping facilities
An excellent hotel in the right location in New York. I enjoyed my stay the service by staff and the fact that they went out of their way to meet customer expectations. I will definitely come back and also recommend the hotel to all my friends.

Nice older building in a good locationPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: the friendly staff, the location (on 5th Ave), the lounge & the restaurant.
Cons: There is very little space everywhere, but I guess it will be hard to improve in midtown NYC.
Location: On 5th Ave, at 55th St; MoMA, Rockefeller Centre, shopping, other nice hotels (St. Regis, Four Seasons) are nearby.
I booked mainly from recognizing the Peninsula name and its location. The lobby is elegant, staff very friendly; but as with most other hotels in NYC, the room is small (but clean & nicely furnished) and there is not much of a view. I like their lounge (where we had high tea) and restaurant (where we had dinner), but did not use the pool, spa or the rooftop bar (not open when we wanted to get up there). With the rate we paid, we expected a bit more!

New York At Its Best!Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Close proximity to the MOMA, Time Square, all major department stores, St. Patrick's Cathedral. This hotel is situated in the heart of New York.
Cons: No. Service was exceptional.
Location: See above...What did I like about the hotel?
From the outset of our arrival, a warm, welcoming staff ensured our accommodations met with our expectations. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Every detail from a fully equipped desk to satin hangers for fine clothing were made available to us. My daughter and I would certainly keep The Peninsula New York Hotel at the top of our list ...we shall recapture the experience, soon!

Cons: Furniture was showing its age but nothing drastic.
Lovely room. Cozy but not too small for mother and daughter trip. Wonderful fruit welcome tray and a thoughtful birthday treat and card for my daughter. Staff was great.bed was super comfy and hotel was really close to shops, central park and times square.

Excellent visit.Posted Sep 4, 2013
We enjoyed a wonderful visit to NYC with accomodations at the Peninsula. Highlights of the visit were a culinary experience for our 14 year-old daughter through the Penisula Academy where she worked with the pastry chef to bake cookies, a wonderful breakfast , and an amazing staff. Special thanks to Justin at the concierge's desk for his helpful advice.

Classy Hotel with Great Value for MoneyPosted Sep 3, 2013
Located conveniently in the heart of the posh Fifth Avenue, The Peninsula offers outstanding amenities at great value. First, spacious rooms especially in a locality where space is at a premium. Clean and crisply appointed. Classy linen and furniture. Convenient and intuitive electronic lighting system. Unobtrusive and clear screen plasma TV. Very comfortable bed. Roomy closet with all the amenities you need. Marble bathrooms with the best of accessories. Excellent, thoughtful and unobtrusive housekeeping. Quick and sufficient replacements of supplies. Classy Gotham bar with very well trained staff. They all make you feel at home and wanted. Exceptional attention to detail and genuinely warm and friendly approach. If you have any special requests, they run an extra mile to take care of your needs whatever they may be. The Bell Captain, the Concierge and the Reservations staff coordinate their communications so well that your needs are thoughtfully addressed. They can always get you a cab any time of the day or night - very resourceful and street smart. Great food choices at the restaurant. Not cheap but if you are willing to pay for the good quality, ambience and service not a bad bet. You have a great choice of very good restaurants and delis close by as well. Overall great value for money!

Pros: friendly staff; spacious rooms.
Location: Location is in the central and close to lots of attractions and businesses.
I have stayed at the Peninsula Tokyo for more than 3 times, and decided to stay at the New York one. It was as excellent as the one in Tokyo. I would definitely stay there again and again.

Hotel AmenitiesPosted Aug 27, 2013
The rooms and amenities at the hotel are outstanding. The fitness centre is excellent and we also enjoyed the roof top lounge area to relax after a long day. The hotel lobby is non-existent though so if you are looking to lounge in a nice lobby, this is not possible
