Exceptional luxury hotel on the park.

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Top end luxury, attention
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location on 5th and the park
I checked out of the Ritz because of a poor customer service relations issue and while I was packing, booked this on expedia at a great rate, about 60% of what I was paying at the Ritz Carlton around the corner. I booked a mid level room but on arrival was given a fabulous room on the 39th floor overlooking the park, a stunning view. The service was personal and exceptional. There was a nice fruit assortment waiting for me. The bedding was perfect, firm with a nice pillow top and great pillows etc. The room was large enough with good entertainment options and comfortable seating and a desk to work at. The bathroom was great with separate tub and shower and luxury toiletries. I did not eat at the restaurant. The gym was bright and clean with adequate assortment of cardio and weights. Concierge, doormen and elevator attendants were pleasant and helpful. All in all a great stay at a great price. This will be my go to hotel in Manhattan even though I own at a Ritz residence and supposedly get preferential treatment. Highly recommend.

Stated elegance in NYC

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: What is there not to like about "The Pierre"?
Cons: Increased lighting in the bathrooms (over the mirror).
Classic prestige NYC hotel, and superb location in the very heart of the city. The Pierre continues to live up to its long reputation as one of the finest anywhere. The facilities and exceptional staff friendliness is what you can expect.

Perfect position on Central Park.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Location: All the major landmarks were within a short distance by subway (too much traffic for taxis) Very good restaurants were within easy walking distance.
Lovely hotel, good position near the major landmarks, on the corner of Central Park but away from the more frantic pace and noise of downtown. The staff were excellent and the bed, possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The stay was a great pleasure.

Childhood Dreams Come True!

Our stay was like a page right out of a storybook fairytale! The view from the room was breathtaking. Central Park & Cityscape had us curled up in robes perched in the window in awe. The service was impeccable, the staff so ever gracious. The Pierre was incredible!
