Stated elegance in NYCPosted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: What is there not to like about "The Pierre"?
Cons: Increased lighting in the bathrooms (over the mirror).
Classic prestige NYC hotel, and superb location in the very heart of the city. The Pierre continues to live up to its long reputation as one of the finest anywhere. The facilities and exceptional staff friendliness is what you can expect.

Best hotel and service I have ever experienced. Could not have been better. Not cheap but worth it. I'm going back soon.

Perfect position on Central Park.Posted Oct 21, 2014
Location: All the major landmarks were within a short distance by subway (too much traffic for taxis) Very good restaurants were within easy walking distance.
Lovely hotel, good position near the major landmarks, on the corner of Central Park but away from the more frantic pace and noise of downtown. The staff were excellent and the bed, possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The stay was a great pleasure.

Childhood Dreams Come True!Posted Oct 20, 2014
Our stay was like a page right out of a storybook fairytale! The view from the room was breathtaking. Central Park & Cityscape had us curled up in robes perched in the window in awe. The service was impeccable, the staff so ever gracious. The Pierre was incredible!

Best hotel I have ever stayed!Posted Sep 8, 2014
Cons: The bar is beautiful. I did enjoy the cocktails. It would be even better if the food could become available earlier than 3PM.
Location: Close to central park and shopping districts. There are many nice restaurants around. The location made everything so easy for me, saved me lots time.
The hotel is very close to Central Park. I had a great stay, the service was wonderful, the staffs were extremely nice and friendly, they provide services in a very efficient way too. The hotel was beautiful. I did also enjoyed the food. The Pierre truly made my NYC trip more beautiful. I am recommending this hotel to every friend of mine!

Great hotel on 5th Avenue opposite Central ParkPosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The location, lovely rooms and excellent staff
Location: This hotel is on 5th Avenue near to all the designer shops. It is also opposite Central Park with all its facilities.
This is a great hotel with only a 10 min walk to Times Square. It is ideally based and is a fantastic hotel with very friendly accommodating staff who all made us feel welcome. Although we didn't eat in the hotel we did have cake in our room made in the hotel and this was wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay in Manhattan

staff were thoughtful & considerate without exception, including those members of management with whom I came in contact - with the exception of the housekeeping manager who seemed to respond better to my direct calls than to requests placed through other members of management with whom I came in contact and were trying to help me (I was not feeling well at the time). Assistant Manager John was sensitive and thoughtful, as was Asst. Room Service manager. The only exception was the housekeeping manager - it felt to me he was more interested in being the manager, than a member of an overall team.
