“Greatest hotel in New York City.”
During the entire stay, the Ritz Carlton never disappointed us. We ordered a couple of movies on DVD's, which are free. Both times, one of the staff brought up a huge bowl of popcorn. This was only one of the nice touches the Ritz offered us. The soaps, shampoos and lotions were of the highest quality. They even have a container of assorted shirt stays. We will definitely be back.
“Awesome”
Room was large and clean Will stay here again
“When only the best will do”
We expected the Ritz to be amazing and it was more than we expected. Staff went out of its way to pamper us and make us feel welcome.
“Great location, great room, great service.”
We took advantage of a 3 night for the price of 2 in January. There was no choice of room, but I asked for a high floor. We were allocated a city view, which was on the 21st floor, it had a great corner view of central park. Have to say it was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in, from the decor, beautiful bathroom, very comfortable bed, flat screen TV mounted on the wall., CD & DVD player with latest movies to borrow, down to an adapter plug for our English gadgets! . There was every attention to detail. All the staff from the maid to the concierge were more than helpful at any time we needed assistance. Expensive, but well worth it.
“Excellent Stay”
I can find no fault with this hotel. The staff was amazing. Ender the concierge went out of his way to make our trip exceptionally memorable, and Norman at the Star Bar was completely charming. We stayed club level and the staff there was also exceptional and left us wanting for nothing! This is definitely one of the best hotels in the world. My only disappointment was with the view from the room, which was located in close proximity to the adjacent buidings making it a bit a dark / no sunlight. However, this was my fault since the front desk offered a better room if we would wait ,but we were ready to check in!
“The Ritz Experience”
The hotel team was very helpful. Rosa @front desk especially, she assisted with an early check-in for me as my flight into JFK was at 6am.. Johnny was also very helpful in explaining where to go in NY and what to do....The location was excellent, food was good but would have preferred a more exciting breakfast choice. In summary, it was an amazing experience and i would certainly recommend and stay there again!
“Absolutely Wonderful!”
I have never stayed at a Ritz Carlton before, but I hope to stay again! It was a wonderful experience. The room was HUGE and it had 2 bathrooms with deep soaking tubs (which was a plus after walking in NYC). The Club was worth the extra money...it was private and had a nice variety of food and drinks available all throughout the day. We stayed at the Ritz Central Park and it was convienent to everything and the view of the park was incredible.
“Outstanding Service!”
The ENTIRE staff was excellent! The location of the hotel was perfect. With the exception of one hotel in Paris it was BY FAR the nicest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We were treated very well. Perfect.
“Not impressed”
This hotel is over priced and doesn't really have any extra perks as far as I could tell. The location isn't great and we had to call several time to get service when requested. However it was pretty neat that we got to see Jennifer Aniston while staying there.
“5 Stars earned!”
We will return to re-experience the excellent security, excellent staff service (from doormen to chamber maids), prompt room service, quality room amenities and whole building cleanliness. Business center was small but adequately appointed and staff available fro special needs.
