It was perfect for my short business trip

I had a great stay at the Solita, it's a great value for money, and I'll definitely stay there again when I return to the City.

Well managed, newly renovated, superb location

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: Very friendly and helpful management. 10+ rating on that.
Cons: In some of the rooms the air conditioning is too close to the bed.
Location: Excellent location. Soho a few blocks west. Little Italy a few blocks east. Darn near ideal downtown location.
This is a great place to stay if you want to experience downtown New York City. Great management. Newly renovated. Rooms are a little small, but that's normal for New York City. Excellent French bistro next door and great "old school" diner with old school prices across the street. Little Italy is just a few blocks east and Soho is just a few blocks west. Tribeca and Chinatown close too. I'm an ex-New Yorker and this is great location.

Perfect location

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: location and size
Cons: I should improve the lobby. The rooms could have a small fridge.
Location: Visiting Soho, Nolita, east Village, Chinatown and Little Italy. The best coffee shop in Manhattan is literally in front of the hotel (Gasoline Caffee
This hotel is located in the middle of all the hype places in lower Manhattan: Soho-East Village

Situation idéale dans N-Y, près de tout!

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: L'emplacement.

Charming boutique hotel in Soho.

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Loved the location and the simplicity of the decor.
Cons: The television didn't seem to get any HD channels. Very poor selection of channel in general.
Location: It's Soho! Great restaurants, galleries and boutique shopping. Don't miss the Tenement Museum.
Easy to find and just a short walk from either the Canal St. subway or the Spring St. subway. Small, but pleasant lobby and a hassle-free check-in. The women at reception were very efficient and also friendly. Only 4 rooms on each floor, so very little noise from other visitors. Only one elevator, but we only had a one long-ish wait. Great linens and very comfortable beds. Good water pressure in the shower and very clean room and bathroom.

Great little hotel near TriBeCa and SoHo

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Great location, comfortable beds, clean bathroom with very good shower, friendly and helpful staff. The location is a big plus too.
Location: Ideal for craft beer bars, independent restaurants and a less touristy experience than Time Sq etc. Well connected by Canal Street subway too.
Visiting NY for sightseeing and exploring the craft beer bars and restaurants with friends. This hotel is in an ideal location (SoHo, close to TriBeCa, little Italy and Chinatown). It is also very well connected to the subway being close to the Canal Street subway. This makes going uptown to the more touristy areas very easy. The hotel was clean, comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff always available at reception. The twin bedrooms may be a little small for some but not a problem if you're not going to be in the hotel rooms too much or aren't staying with children. The shower in the bathroom was excellent.
