“wonderful experience”
Treated like queens and enjoyed ever minute of it. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Could not ask for better service. The food was great and Hotel was beautiful at Christmas.
“Waldorf=Astoria--Always Superb”
I have stayed in the Waldorf=Astoria three times in the last few years, most recently in the summer of 2010; two of those visits were in the Waldorf Towers. I cannot say enough about the W=A. Always clean, comfortable, elegant...and the rooms are LARGE, especially for NYC. Yes, it can be pricey, but look at what you're getting for the money. Also, it's in a great mid-town location.
“Will be the only place I will stay when visiting NYC”
Wonerful room and service.
“Excellent experience, as always.”
Excellent hotel in an ideal NYC location. Found an amazing rate for a two bedroom suite on Expedia, and was astounded by the size of the room--likely bigger that=n the average apartment in town. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all, and will return here whenever visit the city for business or pleasure.
“New York”
New York is always bustling with activity. Hotel is a nice retreat from the stress.
“Superb location for engagement”
Even though I booked the basic room in the Waldorf Towers, our room was incredibly large, with seperate walk in wardrope between the main bedroom and the bathroom. It had an excellent view of New York, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. There was an interconnecting door to the room next to us, and unfortunately there appeared to be a party there one night/morning, but this was handled well by the hotel.
“Loved it!!!!”
Location was great! About 2 blocks from Rockafeller Center and within walking distance of Times Square and the shows--also upscale shopping on 5th Avenue. About 3 blocks from the American Girl Store.
“Great”
This was a girls weekend trip (mom and three daughters)and we had a great experience at the Waldorf Towers. We had a corner room with great views and the room was spacious. The location is close to everything we wanted to see. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful.
“We stayed at the Towers Overall very good, some problems with check in”
We had a problem when we checked in that our room wasn't ready, when it was ready some 45 minutes after check in time . It was still dirty with clothes left in the closet. I phoned reception from the hotel corridor as it looked like the room was in use. I was put on hold for about 15 minutes. It was only that the manager was walking by that the matter was resolved. He was charm personified and upgraded us to a suite. Another issue was that the lobby entrance to the Towers was being refurbed and the walway into the lobby was very uneven. I tripped and I heard several other people complain to the doorman. Otherwise service was great and the hotel is ideal if you're looking for a low key old world experience. The Towers are linked to the main hotel and we enjoyed drinks and dinner in the bar.
