It's all about location!

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff friendliness.
Location: Food in Little Italy, Shopping in Broadway st.
We had a great experience at the Tribeca Blu. Despite rooms are really small, it was good just for the 2 of us who were travelling, I mean, if you're in New York city you won't spend much time in a hotel room. Amenities included were coffee and tea, hair dryer and toiletries. If you are a light sleeper this hotel may not be for you, as it is exactly in the corner of Broadway and Canal, super busy streets, with lots of things to do around. The only turn down, and it is not the Hotel's fault, there are no places nearby to eat in the middle of the night, except for McDonald's.

This Was a fabulous hotel, under new owners, so the overall stay was not pleasant, not good. Definitely disappointing after staying there a year ago!

Great location

Only a few steps from the subway which has a direct route to Times Square. Walking distance as well to some great night spots in West Village. Close to Little Italy, Chinatown, Canal Rd shops and Broadway, make exploring and shopping on foot very easy. The room is small, but comfortable. Would gladly stay here again.

Väldigt trafikerad gata med mycket buller.

Hotellet är fräscht och har väldigt trevlig personal och sköna sängar, men man störs av den stora trafikerade gatan. Vi bodde dock på 8:de våningen.

One cannot regulate the heat of the room. Bed was comfortable and clean! Loved the size of my room for the time I was there and close to needed trains

Quick get away

Location: 3subway stops within a short walk. Very handy.
My second time to this hotel in 5 months. I won't stay anywhere else. For the money, the location can't be beat. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are small but have large windows. It's New York, all the rooms are tiny! The bathroom is surprisingly large with a great shower.

in NYC for a night

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Location: Greek diner with good breakfasts on Grand and Centre (Landmark Coffee Shop), the kind of place where the staff knows the orders of all the regulars.
Simple, perfectly adequate hotel, with nice, white duvet covers on the bed. It's right on the boundary between Chinatown and Tribeca (not exactly in stylish Tribeca, but close to it), and very close to a number of subway lines. Staff pleasant, helpful, let me check in a couple of hours early, which I very much appreciated. The only unusual thing about the hotel is that there is no where to hang your clothes, not a closet, a hook, nothing!! Not a problem for someone staying just one night, but it does seem odd for a hotel not to provide a place for hanging clothes. But it's the second time I've stayed there and I'll stay there again, assuming I can get a good rate from one of the travel sites.

The Tribeca Blu

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: The desk staff was helpful.
Cons: Everything!
Location: Nothing was close.
The room was incredibly hot that it was hard to breathe. The room was much smaller then advertized. There were no bathrobes. It was just bad!
