From the minute we arrived the staff treated us great - courteous, smiling, offering a glass of champagne at check-in, upgraded our room, just made us feel welcome. Free wifi in the room is always nice... The location is awesome - we had short walks to soho, other parts of tribeca and greenwich village. The lobby/bar area is really cool and creatively decorated. All in all a great place to stay!

Great hotel in Tribeca!Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Easy check-in. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Great atmosphere in the hotel (there was jazz music playing when we arrived). Nice lounge & bar.
Cons: Dim lighting contributes to atmosphere, but can be a little too dark at times. Air conditioning was pretty noisy, but these are very minor criticisms.
Travelled to New York for pleasure. Tribeca Grand was in a great location, centrally located with the financial district to the south (Battery Park, World Trade Center), midtown just a subway ride away to the north. Less busy location than staying up near Times Square. A short walk into SoHo with great shops and restaurants. Easy access to subway lines. Staff were friendly, helpful.

Hard to findPosted Jul 12, 2014
Hotel staff and lobby were very nice and helpful.. Truly exceptional would be the word to describe the staff...lobby is very nice.. Rooms are small be nice, bathroom was not lit well and dirty. All the furniture in the room and switches for lights where fitly as they were covered in grime.

Hotel in tribecaPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Classy hotel which doesn't intimidate.
Cons: Although there are a number of lamps the room always feels very dark, which was a problem when getting ready.
Location: Location was fantastic, right on the subway but equally good for wondering around. Great bars and restaurants near by!
This is a hotel which feels a bit traditional in it's decor and trendy at the same time. We knew the area well enough beforehand but the location proved fantastic. We do a lot of walking but the close proximity of the subway stop was ideal on occasion when the rainstorms hit! There are excellent small restaurants nearby- I can particularly recommend the spotted pig further uptown - which was fab! Staff here were excellent. They were not in in your face attentive (which I like) but were very helpful when required. I found this subtle approach to be a welcome change.

Just Ok. Nothing special.Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Great location.
Cons: More attentive staff.
Location: Great location. Close to Soho, the village, great restaurants and shopping.
Took a long time to check in. Only 1 person at the front desk. Room wasn’t ready so they said we can check our bags in the meantime. Took 15 minutes for someone to come check our bags. Rooms were nothing special. Beds were tiny. Shower was a trickle.

Tribeca with access to all of ManhattanPosted May 29, 2014
Pros: Access to Manhattan. It always felt nice to walk into the lobby from the street.
Cons: Wish bathrooms were not so starkly sharp cornered stainless steel; industrial should be tempered with luxury. Loud parties downstairs penetrated bldg
Location: Within walking distance: all lower Manhattan, Little Italy, Chinatown, LES, Washington Sq etc. Most subway lines have stops within five blks or less.
Location, location, location: an easy walk to everywhere, including various subway lines. Very nice lobby and atrium. Rooms are NYC small, with an industrial feel, particularly in the bathroom. Rooms were cleaned promptly.
