Shows the wear of an older hotel. Pot light fixture coming out of the ceiling, missing trim, poor patch jobs around the room, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and answered questions clearly when asked. Would be nice if the wifi was described when we checked in; and asking about a coffee machine when we checked in would be nice too. Lobby is really cool and modern. Fun lighting. Secure elevators to go up to the rooms made me feel safe on the floors. Was disappointed to see the fridge full of booze that you needed to pay a $50 fee for them to come and empty for my things. The $30 destination fee that we didn’t know about until we got there was disappointing too. Overall, I was happy with my stay, but likely will try a different hotel for my next trip.

staff service very very poor and rude beyond expectation. I was given a late check out arranged with the front desk , only to have security come to the room and threaten us to be evicted or leave immediately. I had already spoke to the front desk who were aware we were a late check out. I have never in 30 years of staying hotels around the world been threated in this way. I will never stay there again and suggest that the owners and brand carefully review their standard of operations. No guest should ever be treated in this way which caused my partner and myself huge trauma and ruined our time in New York. This was physical and mental abuse by the hotel.

Was not given the room i paid for. Not well kept. The bathroom had no counter at all. There was a rolling cart to hold towels but no space at all for toiletries. Been here before and it was great. This time not sure what happened.

Great location. Good hotel. Nice lobby and bar. Room unfortunately smelled like someone smoked in it prior to our arrival. Rooms are average size for NYC and lighting is white and harsh.

Property was in a great location. Only downside was that the bathroom could have been cleaner. Toiletries provided were excellent. Sunday night there was construction noise from 3-5am could hear banging of metal coming from outside.

Only thing I didn’t like was the rooms are definitely nit sound proof. Very hard to sleep with all going on in Times Square all day and all night long, Great location and very close to everything.

From the moment I walked in and Nick met me at the front desk until I checked out at 3:30 AM for a very early flight home, the staff at the W efficiently met my every need. From making my reservations for a special dinner to getting me extra towels, I can't say enough good things. The hotel is in a prime Time Square location close to Broadway Theatres and Subway stops. The interior may be due a facelift soon, but everything was clean and well maintained! Would absolutely stay here again!

Hotel location was good. Staff was not knowledgeable about area ...what was going on, where to eat, etc. Charged for internet even though it was included. They did reverse charges when asked. Saturday cleaning of room was not up to standards of other days.
