Pleasant hotel close to Union SquarePosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Union Square, cleanliness, nice sized, quiet room, perfect room temp (nice to be able to adjust the temp).
Cons: Upon check-in please give each guest instruction on elevator usage with key card. Also tell about hotel layout and amenities.
Location: Great location to Union Square and subway
Thrilled to receive an early, noon check in upon arrival! Disappointed that I wasn't given info about the hotel (Is there a restaurant? fitness facility? etc...) upon check-in---to include instruction on how to work the elevator with the room card (: After trying a couple of times to work the elevator to get to my room, a bell hop finally assisted me. During my stay I noticed 2 other guests with same problem! King room was good size and clean! Maid service to room was great. I used a delivery service for food 2 times. It was a bit strange to have security get involved. I had given the service instructions to call me from lobby upon arrival. Instead, security called us. First time we went to lobby, second time security escorted the delivery guy to our room. A bit awkward. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to tip the security personnel in addition to delivery service? Check out was quick and easy! Location of hotel was perfect for Union Square. There still is scaffolding encasing the outside of the hotel due to remodel. (Guess it will be completed in August 2015)However, there was no extra construction sounds. Thank you for a great stay!

Will returnPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: hotel itself, location
Cons: better quality sheets and towels
Location: union square
Perfect location centrally located and across the street from Union Square and subway. Hotel is fun, hip and elegant all at the same time. Staff is attentive and helpful. Only drawback were the sheets and towels, poor quality and scratchy

Hotel StayPosted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Convenient to restaurants, etc.
Cons: Better fluffy pillows and robe. The room could use a little more décor, very plain.
Location: Location is on Park Avenue South. Movie theaters, restaurants, shops, parks, bars were all nearby.
The check in was fine, but the room itself wasn't anything to write home about. The pillows were not comfortable, not to mention the bed. For the price you pay, you should at least have a fluffy bathrobe to wear. The robe was thin cotton. Nothing glamorous about the room. Very plain room, but the hotel is good if you want to stay in the vicinity.

Excellent Hotel in a Great Neighborhood.Posted Feb 2, 2015 on Hotels.com
Excellent hotel in a great neighborhood. Windows could use more soundproofing and elevators should be faster. WiFi is free in the "Living Room" but $20 in the hotel rooms...unbelievable at $300 a night.

Great Hotel in a Great LocationPosted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels.com
Excellent stay. Staff were great, and the location cannot be beaten in Manhattan. I was here for a wedding, and decided to stay overnight to avoid trains and cars after a fun reception at the hotel. It was worth every penny.

Great location but a bit noisyPosted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
We went for a long weekend with family and partial business. The bed was a little hard for me. My biggest complaint was the street noise all night long which could be heard from our 16th floor room. The location is great and décor is attractive.

nice hotel, not great staffPosted Jan 10, 2015 on Hotels.com
One night only; staff somewhat curt and arrogant; did not bother to inform me that the elevator could only be operated by the key and disputed the excessive charge for breakfast which included a smoothie which I never received. They did call back to apologize later and took the coffee off my final bill.
